2 DCR ROLLERS AND PADS The powerful combination of Teknek polymer rollers and Teknek adhesive Pads combine to create the Worlds most efficient hand operated contact cleaning system. Teknek rollers are currently used in the manufacturing of :- PCB s, flexible circuits, LCD s, touch panels, medical packaging, surface mount assembly, laminated glass and more. The polymer rollers (manufactured by Teknek) have been engineered to remove dry unattached particles from any dry flat surface. Small particles down to 2 micron are gently removed by the roller and then transferred to the special adhesive pad. The adhesive on the pad has been carefully designed to ensure compatibility with the Teknek hand rollers, ensuring no cross contamination to the work piece. 6 Not all Contact Cleaning Adhesives are the same. Cheaper Adhesive rolls mean higher cost cleaning solutions. Teknek Adhesive Rolls are engineered components, designed to operate in the critical application of contact cleaning. Teknek are the only supplier who use a proprietary adhesive formulation specifically designed for this application. The performance of an adhesive is determined by its ability to pick up and hold the maximum number of particles; without allowing these particles, or the adhesive, to transfer back onto the substrate. The Cleaning Performance Index - CPI Through extensive research, Teknek has built a model that gives a cleaning rating for any adhesive, based on its key characteristics. The Teknek adhesive rolls are easily identifiable due to the distinctive logo printed on the base paper. 12 TEKWIPES Tekwipes are used to keep Teknek contact cleaning rollers operating at peak efficiency, ensuring the high yield improvements they bring to a process. Simply wipe down the rollers each day with a Teknek Tekwipe and the world beating cleaning performance of the Teknek polymer roller is maintained. The lint free wipe is pre-saturated in an Isopropyl alcohol (I.P.A.) and water solution. It comes in a secure dispensing container which can be stored at the workplace. The cleanroom grade wipe is also suitable for wiping down work surfaces, leaving a clean sterile area.
