There are about 20 million families in the USA, where 90% of parents ages range from 20 to 40 years old 1. People of this age group are the most active users of the Internet. According to last researches 2, about 65% of users pay for their web-content. Therefore, 11,7 millions mothers are potential customers of Online University for Parents. What do most of the families have in common? 1. Lack of learning how to be a good parent. 2. The willingness to want to become a good parent. Our mission is to help those parents. That s why we have created the first Online University for Parents in the world Babystep.tv. What is unique about our Online-University: Videos simply lasting only 1 minute; One video providing one great advice for parents; Developed on the basis of evidence-based guidelines; Content of the video is based on child s age. 5 A working prototype in Russia The project Babystep.tv, which is the prototype of successfully operates today in Russia and receives positive feedback from customers. For 4 months of work we have had following results: 10 of visiting people buy subscription; 9 of 10 parents evaluate positively Babystep.tv, they like modern format of presenting information, conciseness and accessibility. The project has shown its vitality and the ability to justify investments. Investment attractiveness of the service At the early beginning of the first round of investment we had two requests from Digital Agencies (medicine Boiron (France) and Procter & Gamble), which want to cooperate closely with our service. Our project won the second place out of participants in the Russian competition Development Fund of Internet-initiatives. And we were invited to participate in the Challenge Cup - an international competition in which selected participants from all over the world will receive a trip to Washington in 2014.
