6 ADVANCED SECURITY STANDARDS Customizable dynamic/static watermarking on PDF documents Each page of PDF files is embedded with a dynamic watermark that contains the username, date and time of viewing and computer IP, allowing the tracking of documents and all user activity in the VDR. Save/Print disabled You can choose to allow only on-screen viewing and prevent saving and printing of any file in the VDR. In addition, you can choose to grant saving and printing rights only to a limited group of users. Total control on user access User access is verified by the Data Room Manager who assigns the rights of users to view, print and download data in the VDR. If access is granted the user can log-in at all times with his/her own username and password. Password security The Client can choose the level of security to apply to each user s password, such as length of password, use of special characters, if frequent password updates are required, the insertion of a captcha at each login, etc. Disclaimer To increase the privacy of the VDR you can publish (pre-login or postthat all users read and accept it before viewing the login) your Disclaimer and ask documentation. You can publish the disclaimer in different languages or use different disclaimers for each phase of the deal or for each project.
