2 General Safety Instructions! - Check that the installation, putting into service and maintenance of this apparatus is carried out by qualified personnel with knowledge of the apparatus and all the procedures as laid out in this installation and service instruction manual. - To perform the following installation requires a vocational training (electrician, electrical engineer) and some years of experience. - Make sure the standard and legal prescriptions are adhered to during the installation, putting into service and maintenance, so that all procedures are carried out in strict compliance to the rules of good working practice and safety at the work site. - Please read this instruction manual and plan your work before starting the installation. - Strictly follow the information given in this instruction manual. - Pay special attention to the danger notes as indicated in this manual by the following symbol: - Check and ensure that the personnel operating the apparatus have the instruction manual at hand, as well as the necessary information for correct installation. - Before starting the retrofit upgrade, please de-energize the switchgear by operating the disconnector switch and circuit breaker to open position. - Check that all mechanism springs are discharged. If you have doubts, close and open the switch. 2/37

4 Installation procedure 1. Operate the circuit breaker to open position Betjen effektbryteren til utkoblet stilling 2. Unscrew the fixing bracket for the relay Skru av festebraketten for reléet 6. Unscrew and remove the interlocking brackets on both mechanisms Skru av forriglingsbrakettene på begge mekanismene 7. Unscrew the 3 screws of the push button bracket and remove it Skru av de 3 skruene på braketten med trykknapper og fjern denne 5/37

6 S8 S8 Deactivated * Activated 8. Fix the auxiliary switch marked S8 to the upper mechanism (2PA) with 2 pieces of M4x6 screws Signalvenderen merket S8 festes til den øvre mekanismen (2PA) med 2 stk M4x6 skruer *Please charge the springs with an operating handle and rotate the shaft back and forth in this position. Observe that the auxiliary switch marked S8 is both activated and deactivated. When the shaft is rotated clockwise until none back-lash is left, the auxiliary switch shall be activated. PLEASE WATCH YOUR FINGERS, SPRINGS ARE CHARGED! *Vennligst spenn koblingsfjærene med en betjeningsspak. Roter betjeningsspaken i denne posisjonen mot og med klokka. 21 APPENDIX A A.1 10 mm A.2 A.1 Unscrew the screws of the position indicator bracket DO NOT PULL THE POSITION INDICATOR YET! A.2 Pull the position indicator out very slowly until a gap of 10 mm is achieved between the camshaft and the mechanism (See picture) NEVER PULL THE POSITION INDICATOR MORE THAN 10 mm!
