6 Queen s Executive Program Queen s Executive Program is our flagship program and one of the world s most popular general management programs. There are two options for completing this intensive three-week program. OPTION ONE TRADITIONAL FORMAT OPTION TWO MODULAR FORMAT Participants may complete the program over three consecutive weeks. The three-week option is offered once in the spring and once in the fall. I. Strategy Strategic planning processes and implementation: Draft and implement a dynamic and effective strategic plan. Public Executive Management This 5-day program has been developed to address the key leader-manager competencies identified by the Treasury Board of Canada and provincial public service counterparts. The program provides a unique overview of frameworks and processes for applying strategic thinking and planning to the policy issues facing today s public sector executives. As the pre-eminent executive development program for public-sector managers, it gives you a chance to meet with peers, share ideas, and reflect on the challenges facing the public service in today s rapidly changing global environment. The program will enhance your knowledge and insight into the issues, and your strategic thinking skills, to help you meet these challenges. The program is also an excellent forum for networking and professional development.
