3 Silver Stream Healthcare Group was founded in 1993 and currently own and manage six nursing homes. This year is our 20th in business and to celebrate our success, and thank all those who made it possible, we are organising a huge party. The event will be hosted in the gardens and grounds of our largest nursing home, at Ratoath Manor Nursing Home in Co. Meath. 4 The event promises to be a fun family day out with something for everyone. We are extending an invitation to everyone who has supported us throughout our twenty years including residents, their family and friends, our staff and volunteers, our suppliers and service providers and also the local communities, all of whom we wish to thank. The event will take place on 21 September 2013 from 1pm to 6pm. The event will begin with a celebratory mass for our residents which will take place in our private chapel at Ratoath Manor Nursing Home. Residents and their relatives and friends are all invited to attend and take part in the mass. The main event will kick off at 2pm when we will open our gates to the public. We will run a free bus from each home for residents and their relatives, and we hope to get as many people involved as possible. There will be music and entertainment on the main stage and we have already secured some top acts which you will enjoy. We will have live music, a dj, children s performance choirs and stage school performances. We are working on the organisation and will be sure to keep you updated on the line up closer to the date. To keep the kiddies entertained we will have a children s play area with lots of fun events and activities. There will be an entertainer and magician & hopefully a petting zoo. There promises to be lots of food and drink and LaBucca will do a sizzling barbeque and pizzas. We will have a market place with lots of local producers and retailers and some businesses will be demonstrating their services in special interactive areas throughout the event. Of course we will have a Silver Stream stand with lots of information and advisors to speak to in relation to older people s services and nursing home care, should you wish to do so. There will be exhibitions of resident s works and lots of presentations and commemorative events throughout the day. We encourage everyone to become involved to make this event a successful and enjoyable day for all. 6 As a business owner or service provider there are many ways in which you can participate in our 20th Anniversary Celebrations. We would love to hear your ideas and suggestions so please don t hesitate to get in touch if there is something you would like us to organise. Our team will assist you however we can. One of the main attractions of the event is a market place which will showcase local businesses. We have invited businesses from the Ratoath & Ashbourne areas and so far we have received a great response. The event will be open to the public and we will have lots of visitors from our other nursing homes attending so it will be a good opportunity to promote your business and also to become involved in the community spirit of Ratoath village. Your participation in the event will depend on the type of business you have and we will meet with each individual business to discuss your requirements and how best to promote your business. Some businesses have chosen to retail whilst others are going to provide demonstrations and taster classes. We will be happy to meet with you to discuss your options.
