2 Page 2 QUICKPAY Quickpay is designed t quickly turn arund payments fr shifts yu have just cmpleted. Quickpay is available fr all staff wrking casually at Healthcare Australia An Administratin fee f $3.00 will be charged fr each Quickpay requested per daily payrll prcess batch (ie if yu have 3 quickpays prcessed in the same payrll batch/day nly 1 fee is charged) T qualify fr quickpay the table belw refers t the start time f yur shift, nt the finish time. 3 Page 3 HOW DO I REQUEST A QUICKPAY? On yur Timesheets Place an X in the Quickpay bx (tp right hand crner f Agency Cpy f yur Time Sheet). If uplading yur image via the ehca app r ehca website slide/tick the Quickpay bx and als place an X in the Quickpay bx (tp right hand crner f Agency Cpy f yur Time Sheet). If submitting via an electrnic timesheet slide/tick the Quickpay bx The shift must be finished befre submitting yur timesheet, if the shift des nt finish until after 12nn it will nt qualify fr Quickpay until the fllwing days prcessing. 4 Page 4 USEFUL QUICKPAY INFORMATION Quickpays are treated as an advance n yur next weeks pay therefre any grss earned in the fllwing week will be added t yur Quickpay and the tax will be recalculated. Tax will be calculated as per the ATO weekly tax table. Bking errrs, Rate Adjustments, Travel payments, Educatin Sessins, On Calls, Call uts, Tp Up Payments, Sleep ver, Passive shifts & Incentive Payments cannt be prcessed as Quickpay. Staff receiving Wrkcver payments cannt elect Quickpay. Staff paying Child Supprt cannt elect Quickpay All ther utstanding deductins will be deducted frm first pay prcessed. If the deductin is a % it will be deducted frm each pay prcessed. Quickpay ptin is nt available fr VID withdrawals. VID will nt apply t shifts prcessed in Quickpay (ie. Ttal value f shift will be paid, n accrual r tp up will ccur). Individual payslips fr each quickpay transactin will be available nline at the end f each week. Staff shuld phne their financial institutin t cnfirm that payment has been received. Staff cannt ring thrugh and change Quickpay decisin after timesheet has been actined by payrll. Quickpays will nt be prcessed n a gazetted Suth Australian public hliday and n nminated days fllwing public hlidays, advance ntice will be prvided n ehca and payslips t ntify f these dates several weeks prir t the public hliday/s.

5 Page 5 QUICKPAYS AND TAX Tax n Quickpays is calculated n an accumulated grss fr the pay week As yur weekly accumulated grss pay increases s des the amunt f tax that must be withheld. The example belw cnsists f an emplyee receiving a Grss Payment f $300 each day fr 5 Quickpays plus a nrmal pay.
