Why do suppliers need to provide an updated address? U.S. SunAmerica Financial Group requires an updated address to send payment details to the supplier via Citi s Virtual Card Accounts. The supplier will receive an encrypted containing a 16-digit virtual card number, payment amount details, and additional remittance data as supplied by the buyer. The supplier will then be able to process the 16 digit virtual card number to receive payment. 3. How are the s sent to suppliers? s are sent securely over the internet to the specified address using an encrypted delivery feature called Transport Layer Security (TLS). When U.S. SunAmerica Financial Group sends an to you, the VCA server checks to see if your server supports TLS and takes the following action: If TLS is supported, the VCA server encrypts the for secure delivery over the internet. Upon receipt, the is decrypted by your server; you will be able to read these s as usual without any additional steps If your server does not support TLS, the VCA server sends an with an encrypted attachment containing the virtual card number information. You can decrypt the attachment by following instructions included in the . o The process described below addresses the steps needed to be taken by suppliers that do not support TLS.
