2 LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER Technodrill is a Colombian company born in the year of 1998 to fulfill the needs of the energy and oil industry which demanded a reliable supply of a quality service. Today our company accounts on over ninety employees that proudly work to service our customers with the best level of quality and compromise. Attached you will find a catalogue presentation of Technodrill s Service Centers in which you will find the machinery, equipment, tools, measuring instruments and NDT inspection equipment that we utilize to achieve our purpose. In this you will also have an overview of the different types of works we do such as drilling tools manufacture and repair; drill pipe, tubing and casing inspection and repair; manufacture of floating equipment; cutting of API connections in CNC lathes and precision machining; hardbanding and tungsten application; design, fabrication and repair of tools and structures; general welding and non-destructive testing. Our organization has three Service Centers strategically located to give you a nation-wide coverage: Bogotá Base: Covers Central and North areas. Neiva Base: Covers Huila and South West area. 4 1. INTRODUCTION Technodrill s Service Centers are accountable for the maintenance, inspection, repair and fabrication of tools, structures and equipment utilized in the petroleum industry. Our technicians are capable of serving the petroleum and general industry requirements with a high standard of quality and service. For the provision of services our organization counts on the Bogota Base, the Neiva Base and Meta Base where we have fully equipped machine shops to serve in cutting of API rotary shouldered and Acme threaded connections, CNC machining, NDT inspection, repair of pipe, hardbanding, tungsten applications and special welding. In these three bases we have storage areas for tools and equipment of our clients. Technodrill offers and guarantees an integral, agile and well-supervised service to its clients. Technodrill offers drilling motors and jars for rental in diameters from 3-1/2 up to 9-1/2 ; keep permanent stock for sale and immediate delivery of down hole flotation equipment such as aluminum rigid centralizers, bow-type flexible integral and hinged centralizers, stop collars, reamer shoes, guide shoes and float collars from 4-1/2 up to 13-5/8 diameters; manufacture casing drilling bits in bronze and steel. Availability of these tools and equipment and list of prices can be obtained in our Main Office located at the Bogota Base. In our Bogota Service Center we have a technical section in to repair and service downhole tools such as drilling motors, drilling jars, shock tools and drilling jar intensifiers. Quality assurance is an important factor to ensure that our final product is of complete satisfaction to our customers, therefore in our Service Centers we are permanently looking forward to achieve it by following the international standards as detailed in the following chapter Certifications & Licensing. Additionally our company has implemented technical procedures according to API, ASTM and ASME standards to fulfill industrial requirements. At our Service Centers we are permanently concerned with Occupational Health, Safety and Environment. On this matter we are currently registered and audited by the Colombian Health and Safety Council (Consejo Colombiano de Seguridad) since 2001 having a yearly qualification that exceeds the oil and gas industries standards. We are also certified by Bureau Veritas under the OHSAS health and safety standard and have the ISO environment standard certification undergoing. Page 4 of 22

RUC Scores the performance of our management system concerning safety, occupational health and environment under the Unique Registry of Contractors standard of the Colombian Oil Industry. (+57) Bogota Service Center consists of a modern warehouse annexed open area within the Parque Industrial Morelia surrounded by a high level of surveillance and security. The warehouse has an area of m 2 and an installed electrical capacity of 100 kwa. with an annexed area for storage of drill pipe, big structures and drilling tools located on technically designed racks. The main building and warehouse are divided as follows: Main Office where the General Management and Administrative Headquarters of the company are located. Offices of the Bogota Operations Management and technical and operative administration of the Bogota Base with office area available for clients. 7 Similarly, the Neiva Service Center consists of a modern completely covered warehouse located within the Industrial Zone of the city. The warehouse has an installed electrical capacity of 100 kwa. with an area of m 2 divided as follows: Office area for the Base and Service Center administration. (+57) & (+57) CUMARAL (Meta) - COLOMBIA In the Meta Base we have installations to meet the requirements of our customers in the eastern plains oil area with respect to inspection and repair of drill pipe, casing and tubing; NDT inspection, repair and fabrication of drilling structures; hardbanding and general welding, machine shop and cutting of API connections in CNC lathes. 8 The Meta Base has an installed capacity of 100 kwa. with an area of 14,000 m 2 divided as: Office area for the Base and Service Center administration. SERVICES OFFERED Technodrill offers services of maintenance, NDT inspection (WMPI, LPI, UT), general welding, hardbanding, machining and repairing of tools and equipment and structures used in the petroleum industry, ex. drilling motors, drilling jars, fishing jars, shock tools, jar intensifiers, crossovers, drill pipe, drill bits, substitutes, stabilizers, skids, mud pump modules and other special tools. These services are performed by a team of well trained and highly qualified technicians using our own high-standard equipment and measuring instruments. 4.1 BHA TOOLS SERVICE AND REPAIR Maintenance and service is performed on bottom hole assembly tools (BHA) by qualified technicians who are trained by tool manufacturers instructors following the procedures, manuals, drawings, specifications and technical standards given by the manufacturers themselves or elaborated by Technodrill s engineering department, additionally this is achieved following the API, ASTM, ASME and ASNT standards as applicable. When tools and equipment arrive for service visual inspection and incoming test are performed as applicable, dimensional inspection for all the tool components after disassembly and final tests following re-assembly simulating actual conditions of operation. For repairs genuine parts supplied by the manufacturer of the tools are utilized as well as lubricants and consumables that equal or exceed manufacturer s recommendations. When certain jobs and services are provided by external suppliers, Technodrill previously evaluates or audit them to ensure that the services so provided meet or exceeds our own quality standard Service Machinery and Equipment: For technical service and maintenance of down-hole tools Bogotá Service Center accounts with the following equipment: Breakout machine, YUKON brand, in Bogotá Base with a torque capacity of up to ft-lbs. to make up and ft-lbs. to break out, with digital torque and Page 8 of 22

9 pressure display to control high and low torques. This machine handles tools from 3 ½ to 13 diameter and up to kgs of weight. Jar Tester in Bogotá Base to test BHA tools performance by simulating real down-hole conditions with a capacity of up to 200,000 lbs. on compression and 175,000 lbs. on tension. This service is performed by a team of highly qualified and well trained technicians under supervision to comply with our quality standard and customer satisfaction objectives. Fabrication and repair of all types of stabilizer sleeves, string stabilizers and substitutes, crossovers, orienting subs, spools, high pressure flanges, shafts, machining of precision components, cutting of API, Acme and other special threads, racks and rig structures, transport skids, stub welding, hardbanding, tungsten application and pipe straightening are part of our products. We perform dimensional, visual, wet magnetic particles (WMPI), liquid penetrants (LPI) and ultrasonic (UT) inspections following manufacturer s specifications and API, DS-1, ASTM and ASNT applicable standards. Ring gages to measure external diameters of stabilizers and drill bits. Gages, GAGEMAKER, for dimensional inspection of ring grooves of high and low pressure flanges and spools. Complete set of API certified Work Plug and Work Ring Gages. 4.6 IDENTIFICATION AND TRACEABILITY Identification of tools and equipment which we service is performed through visual inspection of the type of tool or equipment, outside diameter or capacity and serial number. For the identification of internal parts and subcomponent, we do it through the visual recognition of Page 16 of 22

17 each subcomponent, part number and/or heat number. This identification is based on drawings, catalogues and lists of parts supplied by the manufacturers or clients. Traceability is guaranteed with a series of documents and registries which consists of: A) For service of downhole and BHA tools such as motors and jars: We keep a folder indentified by the tool name, size and serial number exclusive for each tool in which the Tool Record, Incoming Reports and the Inspection Reports are filed. Tool Record Registers date, number and information of the following documents as applicable: Receiving and Shipping Notes that indicate the entries and deliveries of the tool. Incoming Reports of the tools each time they are received for service. Inspection Reports of all the internal and external components of the tool in which the utilization of new spare parts is also registered. Internal Work Orders that register the details of the work done. Service Orders generated and directed to external workshops or suppliers. B) For other services such as machining, fabrications, welding, inspections and other repairs: Traceability initiates with the Internal Work Order generated for the respective work to which relevant documents are attached when the service is completed according to the following description of documents and registries: The Internal Work Order (OIT) Registers customer identification, remission and Service Order or Contract number and at the same time properly identifies the tool or equipment to be serviced and registers the Inspection Report. The OIT details the work done and the new parts installed; the following documents are attached as applicable: Remission of client, Client s Service or Purchase Order, Receiving Notes, Inspection Reports, Materials Quality Certificates, Shipping Note or Field Service Ticket Copy of the invoice. This package of the completed and closed Internal Work Orders is filed in an indexed folder for future consultations for a period of up to five (5) years. 5. TRANSPORTATION For transportation we have one 5-ton truck to serve all bases to ensure in-time transportation and delivery of tools equipment to our clients; for light weight loads and transportation of Page 17 of 22

18 equipment and work teams we have double-cabin trucks; for heavy loads we have 4-ton load capacity lift trucks for loading and unloading heavy tools and parts in all three locations. For transportation of other needs we utilize transport companies previously evaluated by Technodrill to ensure the quality standard that our clients expect. 6.
