9 TOOLS Ht Engineering is always in tune on BAT (best available technologies). We constantly invest in IT technologies, hardware and net, design softwares, management softwares. Particular attention is focused on reliability (hot backup systems), safety (firewalls), data management (access by permissions, IO ports disabled on PC clients). Ht engineering has been one of the first companies in Italy able to offer 3D plant design activities using PDS (Intergraph) and Microstation (Bentley). Nowadays Ht is one of the few companies in Italy using this system also for civil (above and underground) and electrical and instrumental modelling.

11 All company processes are managed by a powerful ERP customized on Ht needs. It permits to control activities flow as stated in company s quality handbook, so that all the required validations are managed by check of permissions, and no action can take place without control. The ERP permits also a controlled access to data by permissions, the management of scheduling and cost control. It also permits to any user to check progress of the project activities he is working so that he can make a personal continuos performance check. All projects activities are scheduled by a Finite Capacity Scheduler. This powerful instrument considering activities to be done, progress of each activity, priority, relations and constraints, resources (people, machines,..) peoples s skills deliveries external activities schedule.., makes an accurate simulation of all company s processes permitting to forecast resources loads, deliveries, detailed scheduling, and fast what-if analysis. This software permits to import and export data with most used softwares like Primavera, project, Excel.

The ERP permits also a controlled access to data by permissions, the management of scheduling and cost control.
