6 TURN KEY SYSTEM INTEGRATION FAST integrates turn-key automation and process control systems, in full compliance with the technical specifications, standards, quality, expected timing and costs. 7 PROJECT MANAGEMENT When a complex project is engineered, the appointed team of hardware and software engineers is coordinated by a Project Manager with high-level technical skills and tried-and-tested experience. The entire technical and business coordination of resources and tasks is organized to suit the requirements of the Customer, who interfaces only with the Project Manager. The projects are managed in accordance with a specific Project Plan issued and updated as established by FAST s Quality Management System procedures, certified in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 standards. 8 ENGINEERING Project engineering is the most important, but also the most critical phase in the creation of a technological system since its goal is to define the structure in which the entire life cycle of that system will take place. This is why FAST believes that skill, experience and professional outlook of a company are measured by the degree of accuracy which the system engineering phase is conducted with. That accuracy must cover the functionalities created, the solutions adopted and the project deadlines. 9 SOFTWARE The software dedicated to control, monitoring, supervision and safety of industrial processes and utility production, distribution and management services is one of the factors on which the efficiency of a factory most greatly depends: machines, systems and plants are able to provide the best performance, the highest efficiency and the least waste when the application software achieves an adequate level of precision and reliability. FAST uses architecture based on DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA platforms to develop control, supervision and safety software for installations and machines. 11 ELECTRICAL PLANTS FAST produces electrical plants for the industrial and residential-commercial sectors. This company is able to deal first-hand with all the phases required to build an electrical plant, i.e. design, installation, testing, commissioning and also provides emergency assistance and after-sales service. FAST offers the Customer the following guarantees in an Assistance / Servicing contract: Continuous assistance on a round-the-clock basis, 365 days of the year Availability of spare parts Remote assistance from the FAST headquarters Assistance upon specific request is also provided. Regardless of the type of Assistance / Servicing contract the Customer may have stipulated, FAST is always ready to provide assistance within the shortest possible time so as to reduce faults due to failures or malfunctioning to the minimum. 14 CERTIFICATIONS FAST s corporate quality system was certified by CERMET as conforming to standard UNI EN ISO , with certificate N 974 on 17/05/1999. Each year, FAST has subsequently renewed the quality certificate in accordance with the standards in force. To date, FAST has obtained UNI EN ISO certification (CERMET certificate N 974-A) for the following products / services: Design, installation and assistance of automation and remote monitoring systems Information Technology Systems in networks and the web Development and implementation of software on PLC, DCS and Computers Control and power electrical panels Electrical installations Moreover, since 2001, FAST, has also been registered in the roll of Authorized Workshops with the Ministry of Education, the University and Scientific and Technological Research (MIUR).
