We have four beautiful function rooms, including the ornate Great Hall, and the beautiful Library, where Shakespeare is reputed to have written one of his plays. We also have a private Health & Leisure Club with an indoor swimming pool and beauty rooms, which offer a wide range of luxury treatments for you and your guests to enjoy. 7 Saying I do Our four function rooms at The Billesley Manor Hotel include the ornate Great Hall, which seats up to 80 guests, the Topiary Suite, the Stuart Restaurant and the intimate Library, seating just 20 guests for a wedding ceremony with close family and friends. Three of our rooms date from the 16th Century, giving your day a unique atmosphere and sense of occasion. We re licensed by the local authority for civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships for up to 125 guests. Unfortunately, we can t book the registrar for you, so you ll need to contact them directly to arrange your desired date. 19 Questions you may have Who is the contact on the day? The Wedding Specialist or Banqueting Manager will be on hand throughout to ensure everything runs smoothly. Who conducts a civil ceremony? Non-religious civil weddings and civil partnerships are conducted by the Registrar from the local authority. Can you book the registrar for us? Unfortunately not: you need to contact them yourselves to arrange your desired date. Please call How long will the bar stay open? We have a licence to keep the bar open until midnight for non-residents. How many people can sit at each table? The round tables in our function rooms each seat up to 12 guests. What is a wedding breakfast? It s the first meal that you share together as a married couple and by tradition it s called breakfast whatever time of day it is! What shape and size is your cake stand? We have both round and square cake stands which suit most cake designs. Can we use the civil ceremony flowers for the top table? Yes. This is the kind of detail you can discuss at your final meeting with the Wedding Specialist, to make sure everything s just as you want it.

20 Can we provide our own flowers, entertainment, beverages? We re more than happy for you to arrange your own flowers and entertainment. We ll provide all your food and drink as part of your wedding package. If you re planning a multicultural wedding, we ll be happy to discuss your precise requirements, including approved caterers. How many people should we cater for in the evening? You should cater for all your guests if you re serving late-night bites. For a buffet, we recommend you provide enough food for 100% of your guest list. When do we pay? We ll ask for a 500 deposit to confirm your booking, then 50% of the total cost three months prior to your wedding, with the balance due 28 days before the big day itself. How do we make a booking?
