1 Nevada State Bank Treasury Gateway Quick Reference Card Treasury Gateway combines all of your on-line banking login credentials into one single login and website, allows you to access multiple services simultaneously through the same session, provides you with convenient access to bank announcements and contact information, and ensures that you connect confidently to the bank. Through our multifactor authentication system, you are assured you are connected securely to the bank s website. As we prepare to launch Remote Deposits Web Client and Server Side Reporting behind Treasury Gateway, you will experience a change to your login experience. This documentation describes those changes. Accessing Remote Deposits Web Client and/or Server Side Reporting for Users Not Enrolled in Treasury Gateway When you enter the web site address Remote Deposits Web Client or Server Side Reporting, you will be redirected to the page on the right. Select Nevada State Bank. The page to the right will be displayed. Select Remote Deposits Web Client (or Server Side Reporting, if applicable) listed under Treasury Gateway Links on the left by clicking the name of the service. January 2009 Nevada State Bank 1
2 Enter your Remote Deposit login credentials, and click Login at the bottom right. You will then be presented the Treasury Gateway enrollment invitation screen. If you wish to skip enrollment until a later date, click No to access the service selected. To enroll in Treasury Gateway, click Yes. *After April 30 th, you will be required to enroll in Treasury Gateway in order to access your service. When you click Yes, the following page is displayed. Here you can add any additional services you access to your Treasury Gateway profile. If you have access to any of the services listed, select the service and enter your user login information. As you can see on the right hand side of the page, this user already enrolled Remote Deposits Web Client When you have completed enrolling the service(s) you access, click the Continue button located at the bottom right of the screen. 3 If you currently use a SecurEntry Corporate token to access your services, you enter your token serial number, which is the number listed on the back of your device, within the Serial Number box and click Continue. If you do not use a token, do not enter any information and just click Continue. You will now set up your user profile specific to Treasury Gateway. The fields with an asterisk next to them are required fields. Your username can be any combination of letters or numbers, (minimum of 8 characters), but must be unique (no other users can share the same name) and cannot contain any special characters such as *, or %. Your username is not case sensitive. Select and confirm your Treasury Gateway password (minimum of 6 characters). Your password must contain both a letter and a number. It is case sensitive Provide your name, company name, address and phone number. (Please note that the company name cannot contain any special characters.) 4 Once you have entered your new Treasury Gateway user profile information, you select your own image and pass phrase. Click Continue to proceed. After you click Continue, you will be asked to select and answer three challenge questions. When you have answered all three questions, click Continue. You will now see the confirmation page. Please verify the information and remember that the username and password you designated will be the credentials you will use to enter Treasury Gateway, giving you access to all the services you enrolled. When you verify all the information is correct, click Submit. January 2009 Nevada State Bank 4
5 You will be redirected to the Treasury Gateway login page where you enter your new chosen username, then click Login. During your first Treasury Gateway user name entry, you will be asked one of your challenge questions and whether or not you wish to register your computer. When you successfully answer your question and either register or not register your computer, the next page is where you enter your Treasury Gateway password. January 2009 Nevada State Bank 5
6 After you click Login on the password entry page, a connecting page will display as we validate your credentials. Once your login credentials have been validated, your user landing page will be displayed. From this page you can access any of your enrolled services. When you click on the name of the service, the product will be launched in a separate window and you will not be prompted for additional login information. January 2009 Nevada State Bank 6
7 Adding Remote Deposits Web Client or Server Side Reporting for Users Already Enrolled in Treasury Gateway Once you have logged into Treasury Gateway, you can add Remote Deposits Web Client and / or Server Side Reporting to the list of services you access on your landing page through the functionality within Maintenance. The Maintenance functions are found at the bottom center of your landing page. Click Add or Remove Services, which is the second option. Add Service Step 1 To add Remote Deposits Web Client or Server Side Reporting, select it from the list of Available Services for Enrollment. January 2009 Nevada State Bank 7
8 Add Service Step 2 Enter your Remote Deposits Web Client or Server Side Reporting login information in the boxes provided. If you wish to further identify the service, you can enter a nickname, which will be displayed next to the service name on your landing page. Add Service Confirmation Upon entering your valid login information, the service will be listed under Enrolled Services. The Treasury Gateway Landing page is your new window to the bank from which you can: Access all of your enrolled on-line services View Bank Alerts and Announcements Maintain your Treasury Gateway profile o Add services o Change your password o Register a token o Update your contact information January 2009 Nevada State Bank 8
9 Answers to Frequently Asked Questions 1. What is Treasury Gateway? Treasury Gateway incorporates the benefits of a single sign-on process, provides you the convenience of one website for all on-line services, and enhances security by helping to ensure that only you and your authorized staff can access your business bank accounts. The additional user validation at login gives you the confidence that only authorized individuals are accessing your accounts and moving your money. 2. How will the bank implement Treasury Gateway? Treasury Gateway is a multi-level authentication process used to positively identify users accessing online banking accounts. This implementation will occur in phases: Open Enrollment Phase During open enrollment users will be asked to enroll into Treasury Gateway. The enrollment process is fast and easy to follow. On-line notifications will be displayed indicating the days remaining until users need to enroll to access and utilize their on-line bank services. Mandatory Enrollment Phase Open enrollment is scheduled to end April 30, When this period is over, users that did not enroll will be required to enroll into Treasury Gateway at this time. Again, the enrollment process is fast and simple. After enrollment, users logging in will answer one of their challenge questions; then users will be presented with their Treasury Gateway image, and will be asked for their password. A successful authentication remains in effect for the duration of that login session for any service to which the user has been granted access. 3. Why do we need Treasury Gateway? Across the country all financial institutions are required by the Federal Financial Institution Examination Council (FFIEC) to implement layered security to services where transactions can occur and/or sensitive customer data is visible. Also, to combat the increase in on-line fraud, Treasury Gateway will provide enhanced security to help protect access to your on-line business accounts by requiring login information that only the user would know and/or possess. Moving forward, each user will only need to use their single user ID, credential, and password to access all of our on-line business services. 4. How does Treasury Gateway work? When customers visit our branch offices, they know our faces and we know theirs. Treasury Gateway works in a similar manner but over the internet. It is an enhanced security measure now offered to help identify us to our customers and protect their funds from fraudsters. By enrolling in Treasury Gateway, each user will be able to access all of their on-line business services from one secure website using their single user ID, credential, and password. Enrolling takes less than five minutes to complete. 5. How does Treasury Gateway benefit me? Treasury Gateway provides you with: A single website and single login where you can access your on-line banking services. An extra layer of security by validating that you are logging on the Bank s official website instead of a fraudulent look-alike website, and verifying your identity to prevent unauthorized access to your accounts. 10 6. Can I opt out of enrolling into Treasury Gateway? No the Treasury Gateway implementation is our response to adhering to the Federal Financial Institution Examination Council (FFIEC) mandate, which applies to all financial institutions, to implement layered security. It is also in the best interest of our customers to comply with the additional security feature. 7. Will my user ID and password change? When you enroll, you will establish your own user ID and password that will be used every time you enter Treasury Gateway and will give you access to all of the services you add to your profile. The system also allows you to change your password, image (picture), pass phrase and challenge questions through the maintenance function once you ve logged in. You will be locked out if you incorrectly enter your login credentials or fail to answer your challenge questions correctly three consecutive times. Your Treasury Management customer service representative can assist you if you are locked out. 8. Will my business need to purchase new hardware or install new software? No hardware/software installation is required on the customer side. 9. Can I access my business accounts from multiple computers? Yes, you can still access your business bank accounts from any number of computers. There is no limit on how many different computers you can register and use to login to your business bank accounts. We do not recommend registering a computer that is used by the general public, such as those found at the library or Internet coffee shops. If you are accessing Treasury Gateway from an unregistered computer, you will be asked one of the challenge questions that you established during enrollment. 10. Can I still change my password within the linked services once it starts going through this process? No. If you want to change your password, you will need to call customer support. 11. What if I forget my Treasury Gateway password? Call your Treasury Management customer service representative, who will provide you with a temporary password that you will be prompted to change upon successful login. 12. What is Nickname and why would I use it? If you have multiple accounts on the same service, you can use the Nickname field to differentiate between them. You may also just add a special name to the service you have enrolled. 13. What is a token? The token you may receive is a security device (a physical token, see image below) provided by the Bank that displays a 6-digit passcode/tokencode. The token generates passcodes/tokencodes randomly every 60 seconds. The login screen will prompt you to enter your passcode/tokencode, and then you may proceed to complete the desired activity. Currently, Remote Deposit users are not assigned tokens. January 2009 Nevada State Bank 10
11 14. What happens if someone steals my token or I lose my token? Call your Treasury Management customer service representative, who will walk you through the steps necessary to complete your business transaction and order a replacement. Be assured that your accounts cannot be accessed with only the tokencode. Only the combination of user name, tokencode (if required), and password will allow user access.
