Open a checking account at BlackRidgeBANK Stop in at any one of our convenient locations to open your new checking account. 2. Stop using your old account Simply stop writing checks and using your debit card on your old account. 3. Change your direct deposits Complete the form included in our Switch Kit and give it to your employer. Don t forget to include a voided check or deposit slip from your new BlackRidgeBANK account. 4. Change your electronic payments Complete the form included in our Switch Kit for each electronic payment you have set up using your old account. You can either mail the form to the companies yourself or give them to us and we will do it for you. 5. Close your old account Let all your checks clear, then send us the form in the kit to close your old account. We will contact your previous bank and if you have a remaining balance in your account, we will have them send you a check. It s as simple as that! Need Help? 5 How To Enroll In Consumer Online Banking Safe, secure and easy access to your Accounts ***To enroll in Business Online Banking, please contact your BlackRidgeBANK region in Alexandria, Baxter Bismarck or Fargo.*** HOW TO ENROLL 1) Login to our website at 2) Click on Enroll Now 3) Scroll down the page and click on Enroll for Consumer Online Banking 4) Open link, read the Electronic Fund Transfer Disclosure and click I Agree 5) Enter your Social Security number (No Dashes) 6) Enter your account number 7) Choose the account type from the drop down list 8) Enter your password (the last four digits of your Social Security number) 9) If you are using a public computer please check the box that states this 10) Click Submit 11) Enter your Access ID. Your Access ID can be numbers or letters and must be between 6 and 17 characters. Your Access ID will be used each time to login to your online banking 12) Enter your Password. Your Password can be numbers or letters and it must be between 6 and 17 characters. You will enter your Password along with your Access ID each time you login to your online banking 13) Click Submit 14) Enter your address 15) Re-enter address for confirmation 16) View the Authentication Image and select a Pass Phrase that describes the image. This image will appear with your Pass Phrase each time you login to your online banking, verifying that you are on our secure website 17) Choose three questions from the drop down lists and answer them with answers that you will remember. 18) Select if you are on a public or personal computer 19) Click Submit You have completed the enrollment process. You will now see the following headings that you can select. Accounts will show you each of your accounts.
