Me then teaches child Water Adjustment activities Swimming Skills Skills LEVEL P1 Swim on front and back skills Breath Control (Bobbing) Underwater Exploration and 3 year olds. LEVEL P2 LEVELP3 LEVEL 1 Swim on front and back skills Breath Control (Bobbing) Underwater Exploration and Unassisted Back and Front float Swim on front and back skills unassisted Breath Control (Bobbing) Underwater Exploration and Water Safety Introduction to water skills Enter water unassisted Bob 3 times Blow bubbles through mouth and nose Open eyes underwater and pick up object 2 times Front and back float 5 second recover Roll over front to back and back to front Front and Back Crawl 4-5 year olds. 4-5 year olds. Must have passed P2. LEVEL 2 Fundamental Aquatic Skills Submerge head for at least 5 seconds Bob 5 times Open eyes underwater and pick up object at least 3 times Front and back float for 5 seconds and recover Front and back glide 2 body lengths Rollover front to back and back to front Change directions on front and back Tread water Step into chest deep water and front float for at least 5 seconds Combined arm and leg action Unassisted front and back crawl Introduce Butterfly kick Introduce side breathing Water safety
3 LEVEL 3 Stroke Development Bob 5 times fully submerged Side breathing Tread water Front and back float in deep water Jump into deep water and swim front crawl Back crawl Butterfly kick and body motion Breaststroke kick introduced Elementary Back stroke introduced Butterfly stroke introduced Water safety LEVEL 4 LEVEL 6 Water Sports Water Polo Stroke Improvement Feet first surface dive Survival and back float for at least 2 minute Tread water for at least 2 minute Front and back crawl Elementary backstroke Butterfly stroke Open turn on front and back Side stroke Breaststroke Personal Front and back crawl Butterfly Breaststroke Side Stroke Elementary backstroke Front, back and sidestroke with open turn Front and back flip turn Breaststroke and butterfly turn Back float and survival float for at least 5 minutes Survival swim for at least 10 minutes Feet first surface dive Pike, Tuck surface dive Retrieve object from 8-10 feet deep water Tread water for at least 2 minutes kicking only Tread water kicking only for at least 2 minutes This class is designed to introduce students to water sports. The class will explore the sports of competitive swimming, diving and may introduce water polo. This class is designed to introduce the sport of water polo. Must have passed Level 4 to participate in this class Must have passed Level 5
