2 KEEP THIS SET ON "BY LAYER" 1. Flip the layout pages and back to the model space by clicking on the bottom tags. 2. Go to model space. 3. Turn on the orthogonal snap by hitting F8 or by clicking on the ortho button on the lower left. 4. Turn on the 07-Heavy layer to draw the outline of the building by clicking on the layer in the pulldown layer menu. 04 Medium

3 1. Draw the first line: Type the word line then hit enter or spacebar. 2. When prompted for the first point, type 0,0,0 then hit enter. (This is starting your drawing in the origin point, which is always good practice.) 3. Move the curser with the mouse in the direction you want the line to go (up) and don t click down yet! 4.
