3 LNA & Power Amplifiers Richardson Electronics RF and Microwave Communications Group designs, tests and markets low noise amplifiers, amplifier pallets, amplifier modules and rack mount amplifiers used in Digital Broadcast (DVB-T), Communications, Military Wireless Infrastructure and Laboratory environments. Based on strategic partnerships with leading RF & wireless manufacturers and our internal RF resources, Richardson provides complete engineering and technical support to the RF industry. The standard products are available off-the-shelf or with reasonable lead times and demonstrate Richardson s ability to deliver unique, custom products serving several RF Markets. Low Noise Amplifiers Connectorized LNAs suitable for mobile telephone infrastructure, test, defense, and wireless data communications applications. Refer to our RF & Wireless Components and Sub-Assemblies Components Selection Guide for information on our surface mount LNAs. Amplifier Pallets FM, VHF and UHF-TV pallets for analog radio/tv broadcast, digital television broadcast (DVB-T, 8VSB) and digital audio broadcast (DAB) applications for those customers with the resources to produce their own final amplifier or transmitter. Our amplifier pallet capabilities also include designs for cellular base stations, wireless data communications, tower top receiver amplifiers, last mile wireless communications systems and wireless measurement applications. Amplifier Modules These connectorized amplifier modules have a variety of uses, including WLAN, WiMAX base stations, wireless data communications and test and measurement applications. Rack Mount Amplifiers VHF (DAB) and UHF (DVB-T; 8VSB) rack mount amplifiers designed for both digital and analog applications and test & measurement.
