3 Detailed itinerary Day 1 Arrival in Pisa, Square of Miracles, transfer to Il Cipresso farm Andiamo in Toscana! We arrive in Pisa early in the afternoon and head to town to admire the Square of Miracles with is famous buildings. After our first bruschettas, gnocchis and caffe correttos, we take a private transfer to Fossa del Lupo, a small village on the foothills of Cortona, where our accommodation is situated. Our Italian hosts will welcome us with wine and a delicious meal made from local produce.

4 Detailed itinerary Day 2 Sightseeing in Cortona, wine tasting at a nearby winery After breakfast, accompanied by a local guide we start discovering the gorgeous hillside town of Cortona and its long history dating back to Etruscan times. Cortona, enclosed by ancient walls, was built on a hill about 600 metres above sea level to allow it great views of Lake Trasimeno and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. We dive deep into the traditions of the region by participating in a pottery workshop with a local artisan and making our own painted ceramic pot. After enjoying a panino di prosciutto at the butcher s and a couple of hours free time in this charming town, we continue tasting authentic cuisine at a historic Val di Chiana winery, where we learn about Italian viniculture while sampling scrumptious dishes and wine.

5 Detailed itinerary Day 3 Day-trip to Florence, Santa Maria del Fiore, Uffizi Gallery In the morning we depart to Florence by train and spend our whole day in the legendary city of Renaissance culture. The whole day is for your personal exploration, you can visit fashion shops, try local dishes, or fulfil a dream and enter the breathtaking Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, along with its bell tower, with majestic views over the city. If you are fond of art and want to see several of the most important masterpieces of our time, join us on a tour to the Uffizi Gallery. At night, our Italian hosts will wait for us with a delicious meal so we can recover from our Florence syndrome.

6 Detailed itinerary Day 4 Italian class and interactive sightseeing tour in Cortona, cooking class and dinner A native speaker teacher comes to Il Cipresso and gives us the opportunity to acquire the basics of the Italian language, with a lot of communication and fun. Following our language booster, we return to Cortona to find out more about the Etruscans, St. Francis and the Italian masters born here. While doing exciting tasks in small teams, we will have to use our Italian (+English and/or body language) to interact with the locals. In the afternoon we attend a cooking class led by our Italian host, Rina who will teach us recipes and techniques so we can prepare a healthy Tuscan meal based entirely on local fresh ingredients. We will enjoy our farewell dinner together at the dining room of Casa Lucia accompanied by wine and fluent Italian conversations. Day 5 Transfer to Rome, departure to Budapest After saying goodbye to our hosts and Il Cipresso farm, we travel to Fiumicino Airport near Rome and fly back to Budapest. 7 Accommodation Agriturismo Il Cipresso, Fossa del Lupo The holiday farmhouse Il Cipresso sits on the foothills of Cortona, a world-famous ancient Etruscan town, in the small hamlet of Fossa del Lupo. Casa Martina and Casa Lucia, named after the owners daughters, were renovated in typical, local rustic style and furnished with traditional Tuscan furniture. The entire family work on the estate, producing fantastic olive oil, fruit and vegetables, catering for their guests and organizing cooking courses.
