4 4 IEE project «REScoop » Full title of the project: Foster social acceptance of RES by stakeholder engagement Acronym of the project: REScoop Contract N: IEE/11/930/SI REScoop Duration (in months): 36 Avanzi is leading partner of the Intelligent Energy Europe project REScoop The project helps to improve social acceptance of RES-e generation with its proven model of local cooperative citizen involvement. The coop approach has proven its efficacy all over Europe to streamline construction and licensing procedures, as well as reducing other market barriers. The overall goal of the project is to speed up the creation of RES projects and related cooperatives in various member States. Total budget: 1.9 Meuro EU funding: 1.5 Meuro

The project helps to improve social acceptance of RES-e generation with its proven model of local cooperative citizen involvement.

5 5 Expected results Key outputs of the action are: Develop and share methodologies based on best practices to create new citizens RES-projects Support emerging RES-projects with a toolbox that integrates the learning of the more than 400 existing RES cooperatives Deliver recommendations to EU and national Governments Main impacts within the duration of the project are: Creation of 12 new REScoops and projects, applying best practice and leveraging the network corresponding to at least 24 MW (average of 2MW per project) established thanks to the action support. Direct involvement of at least 6000 shareholders that leads to at least a 5% reduction in their electricity consumption Secure financial support to new RES initiatives collecting commitments for 100 mil all over Europe.
