1 TENDER NOTICE Subject: Quotation for procurement of Paper Shredder. Consultancy Development Center invites sealed tenders/quotations from registered Supplier or OEM or authorized dealer as per the terms and conditions enclosed as Annexure-I. 2. The bid should be submitted in a sealed cover in two separate parts as under: (a) Technical bid: Envelope should superscribed Technical Bid for supply of Paper Shredder and it should contain all technical details as per Annexure-II, III, IV. (b) Financial Bid: The second cover should contain the rates etc. as per Annexure-V and it should be superscribed Financial Bid for supply of Paper Shredder. Both of these sealed covers are to be put in a bigger cover, duly superscribed as Bid for supply of Paper Shredder. 3. Bids should reach the Director General by post only in Consultancy Development Center, India Habitat Center, Core 4 B, 2 nd Floor, Lodi Road, New Delhi on or before 15 th February, 2013 by 1600 Hrs. The quotations received after closing date will not be entertained. The technical bid will be opened at Hrs on the same day. You or your representative may like to be present at the time of opening of the quotations. Financial Bid(s) of only those bidder(s) will be opened on a later date whose bids are considered technically acceptable after evaluation. Date of opening of financial bid will be intimated later on. 4. The competent authority in the CDC reserves the right to amend/withdraw/relax/modify any of the terms and conditions contained in the Tender Documents or reject any or all applications (offers) without giving any notice or assigning any reason thereof. The decision of Competent Authority will be final and binding.

2 TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. The scope of this tender is to invite offers for supply of Paper Shredders. Annexure-I 2. The Shredders supplied should remain under Warranty period for at least one year. 3. The tender may be submitted by the OEM directly or through an authorized dealer. In case of authorized dealer documentary evidence for the same should be enclosed. 4. The rates should be quoted in figures clearly for shredders along with the rates for AMC for 2 years post warranty of one year. The rates quoted should be exclusive of taxes. The breakup of taxes included should be given. Deviation, if any, from the specifications will not be accepted. Correction in Rate column, if any, should be duly authenticated. 5. The machine would be required to be supplied within 7 working days of the issue of supply order. Any loss sustained by the Centre as a result of non-compliance with delivery schedule, questionable quality of terms and short delivery shall be deducted from the total Financial Value of Product. 6. The tenderer must be registered with Sales Tax Department and a copy of registration Certificate to this effect, duly signed and stamped by the authorized person of the company must be enclosed with the tender. 7. TIN No. of the firm as applicable while submitting the tender, must be indicated. A tender lacking this will not be considered. 8. The contract will preferably be awarded to the lowest tenderer amongst the technically qualified bidders. However the Centre is not bound to award the contract to the lowest tenderer. 9.The items as per the approved specifications should be supplied within 7 working days of the issue of the supply order failing which a penalty would be imposed (equal to 1% of contract cost per day of delay subject to maximum of 10% of the contract value, in case of further delay beyond one month the order is liable to be cancelled) 10. If the items supplied are not found up to the approved specifications, or, are not delivered within the stipulated time, the EMD may also be forfeited at the discretion of Consultancy Development Center. 11. The rates are to be quoted on the company s letter head. Each page of the quotation/tender must be signed & stamped by the authorized Signatory. Unsigned quotations may not be considered. 12. It should be clearly specified in the technical bid that each item is as per specification Mentioned in Tender Notice, and it fulfills all the requirements specified in this Tender Notice. Tenderer would be required to make arrangements for the demonstration of the machine at his own cost before the Technical Committee. Technical Committee would evaluate the specifications of the machine. 13. EMD Rs.5000/- shall be submitted in the Name of Consultancy Development Centre, New Delhi along with Financial BID. In case of non-submission of EMD the bid will be summarily rejected. 14. Tender Documents not properly sealed will not be considered. 15. CDC, New Delhi, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids in full or in part including the lowest, without assigning any reason thereof or incurring any liability thereby.
