4 Technical Meeting The Technical Meeting will be held at the Team Hotel in accordance with the Nordic Handbook on Friday July 12 at 20:00. See information about which conference-room in the Hotel lobby. Agenda: 1. Presentation of key officials. Rules and regulations Extra participants (OOC s) 5. Shuttle to training and competition venue. The organizers provide local transportation to and from the Competition venue. See the overall schedule for the departure to the stadium and return to the hotel. 6. Opening ceremony There will be no official opening ceremony at the stadium. 7. Technical matters - Warm up facilities. There will be warm up facilities available in and outside the stadium. See view of stadium in page 6. - Warm up procedure in jumps and throws. In order to give the athletes the best conditions possible, there may be given permission to more than the two test trials rules prescribe at the venue. 3

5 - Jumping heights. See Page 9 - Call Room procedure. There will be call room before the first events each day. All athletes must show team vests, bibs, shoes and spikes. LOC recommends that international rules according electronic devices be complied. - Control of implements Personal Implements must be submitted immediately after the technical meeting on Friday 12th of June. Each implement will be recorded - and team leader will receive a signed list of the submitted implements. The implements will be checked according to IAAF rules - and will be carried out at the venues. After the competition, the implements could be picked up in the equipment room, located in the west end of the stadium, near the entrance to the stadium. - Protests 8. Victory ceremonies Protests concerning the result or conduct of an event shall be made within 30 minutes of the official announcement of the result of that event. Any written appeal to the Jury must be signed by a responsible official, on behalf of the athlete, and submitted to Competition Office within 30 minutes after the official announcement of the decision made by the Referee. When submitting an appeal form, a deposit of 500 DKK, as set in the rules, must be paid. If the protest is unsuccessful, the deposit will not be returned. The Jury's decision will be provided in writing. Victory ceremony will be held in the stadium on Sunday, after the last events of each group, while taking account the possibility of protests and travel plans. For the smooth running of victory-ceremonies the LOC encourage team officials and coaches quickly to make the main referee aware if a protest may be on the way. In these cases the LOC postpone the victory ceremonies, until the protest is processed according to the rules. 9. Results management All results will be recorded online at the venue. will be updated continuously. The speaker will present all results, and lists of results will be posted in the stadium as well. 10. Doping control 4

6 There will be anti-doping authorities present during the championships. Facilities for doping control will be located in the building right beside the main entrance to the stadium. 12. Lunch Lunch will be served at the stadium, according to the given schedule. There will be a lunchbox for each country. If you want to buy other food or drink, there is a small cafeteria just outside the stadium and a supermarket only 5 minutes walk from the stadium, near the local train station. Se the map at page Departure For those who leave Sunday directly to airport: You have to bring all luggage with you in the morning, to the stadium. There will be arranged facilities in the stadium area - where the luggage can be stored behind lock and/or supervisioned. 14. Questions For those who leaves Monday: You must ask in the Hotel when the rooms must be left. You have to take the train 500 meters from the Hotel to the airport (only 2 stops) Poles and suitcases will be transported by car by LOC. 5

7 Tårnby Stadion The competition will take place at Tårnby Stadion located just outside central Copenhagen. Tårnby Stadion is the venue for the annual Tårnby Games witch is one of the biggest meetings in Denmark, with app. 900 participants over 2 days. 12 Accommodation All teams will be accomodated at: CABINN Metro Arne Jacobsens Allé 2 DK-2300 København S -Phone Website CABINN Metro Hotel is one of Denmark s most modern hotels, designed by the American architect Daniel Libeskind. With its location in peaceful Ørestad, the hotel is just 5 minutes by train from Copenhagen Airport, 10 minutes by metro from central Copenhagen and a short walk from the Bella Center convention centre. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and complimentary tea and coffee in all rooms. The hotel has as well an ultra-modern conference centre, which can be used for anything from short morning meetings to longer courses for participants. Accreditation There will be no accreditation procedure, neither for athletes nor for coaches. 11

13 Local Transport Upon arrival at Kastrup Airport a LOC Representative will meet and escort you to the team hotel according to your travelplans. The transport will be partly minibus - partly by train. The train station (track 2) is located at the end of Terminal 3. The trip by train (direction: Østerport) to Ørestad Station (2 stops) will take only 5 minutes. From Ørestad Station there is a short walk (less than 600 metres) to the Cabinn Hotel. Poles, suitcases and other implements will be transported by car by LOC. Shuttle service The organizers provide local transportation to and from the Competition venue. See the overall schedule for the departure to the stadium and return to the hotel. Photos Photos will to some extend be available at the championships homepage: juni-2015.aspx Web publications can use them for free - but the photographer must be credited ("DAF/Kim Gudmand"). Meals All meals except lunch will be served at the Team Hotel.
