2 Target audience Greetings from the Organizing Committee of NWCT 2017! It is a pleasure for us to invite you for the study design workshop on clinical trials. The speakers for the workshop will be from premier institutes and industry who have vast experience in clinical trial methods. The workshop will comprise of lectures, group exercises and open forums. We believe that this workshop would be a fruitful experience and a rich academic feast for all clinicians, academicians post-graduates, ethics committee members, journal editors, reviewers and research scholars who have a desire to update themselves in the nuances of clinical trial methodology. 3 ACCOMMODATION: Participants are expected to arrange their own accommodation. However limited sharing hostel rooms in campus are available on first-come, first served basis. TRAVEL DIRECTIONS: SRM Medical College Hospital & Research centre (Kattankulathur, Potheri) is situated in the suburbs of Chennai, GST road (NH-45), 25 km from Chennai Airport. There is a railway junction (Potheri) right across the entrance of the campus. Participants reaching Chennai by train can aboard the Beach to Chengalpattu local train from Beach/Central/Egmore stations to reach Potheri junction. The college is also wellconnected by bus facilities from the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT), Koyambedu.
