1 2016 ITASCA GREENHOUSE A Leader in Containerized Tree Seedlings ITASCA GREENHOUSE, INC. can grow up to 2 3 million containerized seedlings per year. With our greenhouses utilizing cogeneration heat from our local power station, and with our management efficiency, we are able to produce quality containerized seedlings at low cost. Growing Tomorrow s Forests Today For You Dear Customers, PO Box 273, Blackwater Rd Cohasset, MN 55744
2 Dear Customers, We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, past present and future for your support and patronage of Itasca Greenhouse will be the beginning of a new era in the over 30 year history of this company. As Bill prepares to retire from day to day operations of the Greenhouse, he will pass along his knowledge and experience to Dan and Rachael Nielsen. As the new leaders of this company, they will continue to be involved in the conservation of the local forests and the forestry industry. New processes will be implemented over the next several years that take the newest technologies into the greenhouse end of growing the next generation of trees. New product lines will be implemented and promoted, always with the best interests of the environment in mind. New varieties of trees will be put into production for future years to accommodate markets and growing conditions outside of the local area. We plan to continue with the same quality customer service that you are used to in the past. We would be happy to have you visit our facility. Please call at least 24 hours in advance to make sure we have someone available to assist you. The integrity of this company is important to both the old and new leadership and we want to assure you that the quality of the plants that you receive will always be of the best quality to perform well for your application. As always, container grown seedlings continue to be the best option for transplant success for small trees, with greater than 95% survival with the appropriate care. They are a great option for Christmas tree farms, shifting to larger containers for the landscape trade and for mass plantings in reclamation projects, windbreaks and for reforestation. We look forward to working with you for many years to come and to continue the longstanding relationship that many of you have had with us for the last three decades. Sincerely, Management and Staff Itasca Greenhouse
