1 Detailed Itinerary for the AMSN s 2015 Furano Eduventure Day By Day Suggested Itinerary Please note this symbol denotes a meeting point for the group to meet at before we go to the next step. If you wish to skip a meeting point or make a different arrangement please tell Brent ahead of time so we don t have to wait for you. If you do find yourself lost please return to the previous meeting place and we will look for you there. Saturday the 31 st Days activity: Fly out from the Gold Coast at 10:50am and arrive at Tokyo airport Terminal 2 at 18:55pm. As this is an international flight we suggest you arrive at the Gold Coast airport by 8:30 am Queensland time. Fly out of Gold coast on Jetstar JQ11 10:50 AM Gold Coast 18:55 PM Tokyo (Narita) Direct flight 9hrs5mins Dreamliner Meet at the departure gate after customs clearance at 9:45am Queensland time for introductions. Gate number will be listed on airport screen. Get on the plane.

2 Meet at the Baggage Carousel to pick up checked in luggage at the Tokyo airport. Meet as near as possible after Clearing Japanese immigration (where your fingerprinted) and proceed as a group to Bus stop 31-B to get the shuttle bus to the Toyoko Inn. (Please find bus timetable and map of the bus stop at the end of this letter.) If we all can t fit on the same shuttle bus no biggy they run every 20 minutes but we may need to arrange a further meeting stop at the hotel. Perhaps the Bar or an arranged time at the reception desk. This is only about 10 minute shuttle bus ride from the airport to the Tokyo Inn. Sunday 1st feb: Days activity: Fly Jetstar from Narita to New Chitose Airport and then get a bus transfer to check into the New Furano Prince Hotel by mid to late afternoon. Jetstar flight GK105 which departs Narita Airport at 9:55am and arrives at New Chitose Airport at 11:40 am. (1 hour 45 min travel time) Wake up early, help yourself to the hotels complementary buffet breakfast and checkout. We will meet at the Hotels reception area at 7:45 am and try and catch the 8:00 am shuttle bus and board the flight to new chitose airport. We will meet at the baggage carousel and then we have some time to kill before we proceed as a group to the Bus stop to catch the 2pm bus to the New Furano hotel. Perhaps we may need to negotiate a later meeting point somewhere in the airport.

3 Bus No.807 Assembly Point: Tour Counter No.5 (Level1) Hokkaido Resort Liner Departs: 14:00 New Chitose Airport Domestic Arrives: 16:25 New Furano Prince Hotel For anybody that missed this bus or making other arrangement a full timetable is listed at the end of this document under the additional information. We will then arrive at the New Furano hotel at 4:25 pm. The AMSN has arranged for an English speaking staff member to present in the hotels ski hire room until 8pm that evening. This will allow us to be on Monday mornings 8:30 Gondola all geared up ready to go!

4 Monday the 2nd Feb through to Thursday the 5th Feb: Days activity: Ski the slopes, soak in the hot tubs and do your CPD Enjoy one of the best breakfast Buffets you have ever laid eyes on and get your powder on! The main gondola is open from 8:30am with last run at 3:30pm. We will meet at 4pm Sharp at the New Furano prince hotels function room Tokachi each day to begin our CPD activity until 6pm. Friday the 6th of Feb: Days activity: Spend one final day on the slopes of Furano and then get a bus transfer from the New Furano hotel from 4:45pm to arrive at the art hotel Sapporo at 8pm. We will meet at the hotels reception area after checking out at 16:15 pm sharp and proceed as group to the bus stop outside the hotel to catch bus leaving at 16:45pm. Please note this is the only bus that day going directly to Sapporo. Other earlier options are available via New Chitose Airport. Check the additional information at the end. Bus No.822 Assembly Point: New Furano Prince Hotel Hokkaido Resort Liner Departs: 16:45 New Furano Prince Hotel Arrives: 19:30 20:00 Sapporo City (The bus will stop at Art hotels Sapporo, Sapporo Tokyu Inn, Sapporo Prince Hotel Tower, Sapporo ANA Hotel and Century Royal Hotel.) Meet some time after check in an freshen up in the hotels onsen spa for some Sapporo night life!

5 Saturday the 7th of Feb: Days activity: Free time or to be discussed. Enjoy your complimentary buffet breakfast. Free time today Highly recommended is a self-tour around the snow festival and check out some of the amazing shopping. Things are a lot cheaper in Japan than you realise. town. An optional meeting time of 8:00pm to be confirmed for another night on the Sunday the 8th of Feb: Days activity: Leave the art hotels, walk to Nakajima Koen subway Station and catch a subway to Sapporo station. Then take the airport express train for a 40 minute trip to the New Chitose airport. Fly from Sapporo to Tokyo at 13:45pm and then catch the 8:25pm flight from Tokyo to Gold coast to arrive early Monday morning. Enjoy your complimentary buffet breakfast and then checkout of the Art hotels. Please note this is one the stage of the trip where a payment for accommodation will be required unless you booked and paid for the Art hotels through Akeri. Please note at this point Brent will be departing the group to stay a few extra nights with my wifes family. I suggest somebody nominate themselves to keep track of people and be a go to point. Be prepared to travel by yourselves from this point! There is also an option of a direct bus to the airport from the hotel. Please speak to reception staff at the hotel.

6 Meet at the hotels reception area at 9:00 am and proceed as a group on foot to the gate 1 of the Nakajima Koen Station. Its about a 2 minute walk. See map below Catch the Subway train from Nakajima Koen Station to Sapporo central station. Its approximately 4 minutes on the Namboku Line. See map below

7 Get off the train and re-group on the exiting platform and move a group to the ticket office and then proceed to the departure platform for the Sapporo to New Chitose airport express line. Its about a minute train trip. Fly on the Jetstar domestic from Sapporo to Tokyo on Sunday the 8th of Feb flight number GK106 leaving Sapporo 13:45 pm and arriving Tokyo 15:30pm.
