3 The ICM from outside The ICM International Congress Centre Munich is one of the most modern congress centres in the world. It is directly linked with the buildings of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. An inviting, friendly atmosphere and state-of-the-art technology provide ideal conditions for events of any kind or size. With seating for up to 7,000 people, approx. 8,000sqm of exhibition space and rooms for 20 to 3,000 people, the ICM is designed for flexible use. It is one of the most efficient centres of its kind. The ICM s direct link with the trade fair halls permits interesting combinations of conferences and exhibitions. The ICM is one of the most modern congress centres in the world. The 10,000sqm in hall C1 provide ideal conditions for large events for up to 6,000 people. The modern architecture meets all the organisers and visitors needs. The adjacent hall C1 is particularly suitable for media events, television productions, shows and other events with large audiences. The spacious entrance area welcomes visitors from all over the world. The landscaped grounds are ideal for recreation and relaxation. In good weather, you have a splendid view of the Alps.

4 Inner values The main entrance area and meeting place is the light, airy foyer with 4,500sqm of space, extending over two floors. Fine materials and a pleasant colour scheme create the right atmosphere for both concentration and relaxation.there are three permanent catering areas in the foyer. An ultramodern air-conditioning system ensures that the building has a pleasant, healthy indoor climate regardless of the weather. The foyer can be partitioned into two independent areas. Thus, two large events can be held at the same time. In addition to rooms for events, seminars and conferences, the ICM has exhibition areas in the foyer, the ground-floor exhibition hall B0 and hall C1. The ICM Business Centre serves as a meeting place, information and service centre, for example for discussions or information on hotels, cultural events and restaurants in Munich, and offers all kinds of modern office services. The spacious foyer extends over two levels. High-quality materials and pleasant colours create a relaxed, hospitable atmosphere. Fittings such as the reception desks can be adapted easily to meet your event s requirements. Spacious stairs connect the three levels of the ICM.

5 The ICM at a glance 2nd floor Every room is easy to reach from the foyer. The ICM has a comprehensive guidance system to facilitate orientation. All the rooms have first-class amenities: from the seats, lighting and acoustics, to the humidity and room temperature. Special importance was attributed to room flexibility. With modern, soundproof partition walls up to the ceiling and different kinds of seating, the rooms can be changed to meet individual requirements within a very short time. 6 Exhibition areas In addition to rooms for events, seminars and conferences, the ICM offers exhibition areas in the foyer, on the 1st floor and in the ground-floor exhibition hall B0, as well as in hall C1, which has all kinds of technical facilities. 10 Technology that enthrals The ICM has all the modern technology you would expect of an efficient congress centre, for example, variable stages, mobile screens for multiple projections, travelling light bridges, ultramodern data and video projection systems, digital mixers, separate control rooms and interpreting booths. The extensive system of wide-band cables and links between all the rooms and the neighbouring trade fair halls helps to simplify the organisation of large events held in several rooms or halls. Spacious loading/unloading zones with direct access to the individual areas of the ICM facilitate assembly and dismantling as large, heavy exhibits or equipment can be delivered easily. Media corporations can be linked with events at the ICM by an AV platform, connections for TV and radio transmission vehicles or two excellently equipped radio studios integrated into the trade fair grounds. Experienced staff will be pleased to advise you on the technology available for your event. The auditorium has stage technology of theatre standard. With partition walls up to the ceiling, the Ballroom can be turned into three individual rooms within a very short time. These rooms have sound-proofing and are all linked to the AV system. Thus, they can be used for all kinds of different events. All the ICM s rooms have perfect light and sound technology which can be regulated from control booths.

11 Catering and services The ICM s many services include different kinds of catering to meet the guest s individual requirements. In addition to three permanent catering areas in the foyer ICM Bistro, ICM Bar and ICM Café guests can go to the trade fair restaurant Am See (with direct access from the foyer). Catering of all kinds from a coffee break to a seven-course dinner can be arranged in the various rooms and lobbies. Our team of highly qualified employees and experienced partners will ensure that your event runs smoothly. Even large culinary events with more than 4,000 guests can be arranged in a festive setting. Mobile catering counters are ideal for different catering concepts. If you want to extend hospitality and relax, the ICM s catering facilities provide the right setting.
