6 Dugard 52 TT SY / Dugard 52 TTT SY Main Spindle and Upper Turret The upper turret is a 16 position servo turret Turret rotation and indexing are driven by a servo motor extra high indexing accuracy The main spindle and upper turret allows for front machining on parts 2 nd Spindle and Lower Turret The 2 nd turret is a 16 position servo turret Turret rotation and indexing are driven by a servo motor extra high indexing accuracy The 2 nd spindle and lower turret allows for back machining on parts Turret Design and Performance The specially designed oil cooled turrets achieve the high levels of repeatability and accuracy required when running large batches or demanding components. Each turret is equipped with a 5.5kW driven tool motor and 16 tool positions. 5

8 Dugard 52 TT SY Gripper and Finished Parts Conveyor Once part machining is finished, the gripper picks up the finished product and moves it to a conveyor to be transferred out of the machine This prevents scratching the product s surface, ensuring the highest quality finished product Control System - Mitsubishi 720L LCD monitor, graphic display, 600M memory and high speed processor Control Features SSS - High quality machining is achieved by determining appropriate shapes and avoiding unnecessary deceleration OMR - High speed and high accuracy control of the drive system is achieved by estimating programme paths from beginning to end NAVI - The simple programming system ensures easy operation

Each mechanism is adjusted and calibrated to the highest accuracy level 3
