9 Quarantine Same quarantine zone 1 for all individual competitions, transport to pre-start area. made it easy for everyone simplify the preparations for coaches and competitors 2/4/2014 9
10 Mapping 1 started 2008 with basic material included Euromeeting 2011, WCUP KOW training maps (paper, ocad) WOC maps were ready one year before the games last chances (small cuttings, green and yellow, fences to the sprint) in the end of may 2013 printing started 13.6 controlled by EA team, course controllers, course planners co operation with IOF map comission 2/4/
11 Mapping -> what to check everyone must have same OCAD versions! difficult areas/special features to map > do a small part of map and then check it together with course planners and course controllers 1: map > not 1: in a smaller scale! maps must be readable when running check the maps with paper version! Rules: o International Specification for Orienteering Maps/ the international Specification for Sprint Orienteering Maps 2/4/
12 Cource planing+ checking separate control descriptions for each competitor with runners number on it maps with numbers course planner teams did first checkings and after that all materials were checked by controllers! 2/4/
