2 Swedish Karate Kyokushinkai are proud to invite you to the Swedish Open Knock Down Tournament th of September hosted by shihan Howard Collins & shihan Brian Fitkin in Lund, Sweden There will be three weight categories in the men s tournament, and two in the women s as follows: Men lightweight -70 kg Men middleweight -80 kg Men heavyweight +80 kg Women lightweight Women heavyweight -65 kg +65 kg The tournament is open for all Kyokushin fighters, but there will be a limit of 16 fighers in each category. Rules are going to be Kyokushin international Kumite standard. Groin protection is compulsary for both men and women, women must also have breast protection of the cup type and shin protection. The fights will be 3 minutes, and each extension will be 2 minutes. The tamashiwari will be done prior to the semifinal (men only). Medical checkup and registration will be on Friday evening (10 th of September) at the official City hotel. As usual we will serve a meal on the tournament day and all fighters and coach will be invited for the Sayonara Party after the tournament. 3 ACCOMMODATION There is several hotel available, prices approximately: single room 70 Euro Friday-Sunday and 130 Euro weekday, double room 95 Euro Friday-Sunday and 160 Euro weekday. Youth Hostel accomidation from 20 Euro per person, you ll need your own bedclothes. Please send us an to make your reservation. You are also welcome to stay in one of SKKs Dojo in Lund. For accomodation in the dojo you need to bring your own sleeping bag. Just send an so we can arrange this for you. AIRPORTS & TRANSPORTS The nearest airports from Lund is Copenhagen and Malmoe. It takes approximately 45 minutes by train from Copenhagen airport to Lund. Approximately fare for singel ticket is 14 Euro and for Duo ticket 25 Euro. For more information please check: Travel Planner From Malmoe airport by bus it takes 40 minutes and the fare is approximately 18 Euro for return ticket bought on internet. You can pay only by credit card on the bus and the fare is approximately 20 Euro for return ticket. For more information and internet ticket purchase please check: TICKETS Ticket price is 9 Euro for juniors (younger than 15 years) and 19 Euro for seniors + Ticnet s fee. Family ticket is availble for two parents and two children and fee will be 55 Euro. Please note that the prices at the arena ticket shop will be 15 Euro for juniors (younger than 15 years), 25 Euro for seniors, and 70 Euro for family ticket. The tickets are bought through Ticnet: SAYONARA PARTY This will be free for competitors, coaches, EKO Board Members and VIP s. Additional people may attend at a cost of 29 Euro each.
