E-AMAN Results Achieved E-AMAN concept and Delay Sharing technique were considered acceptable by ATCOs as potential improvement for TMA traffic synchronization; Delay sharing technique and associated working methods gained an high level of acceptability among ATCOs (help controllers in synchronizing and ordering the descending traffic) ; Integration of E-AMAN with I4d and ASAS S&M Workload acceptable level; Situational Awareness improved. Continuous training to be ready to manage circumstances with partial/total failure/unavailability of innovative technologies and innovations supporting automation Concept validation in a Medium/Medium scenario with a more complex Environment for i4d and ASAS S&M RTS and Live Trials
Demo: Extended AMAN Towards Deployment Theo Hendriks, MUAC, Eurocontrol 10-11March 2015 World ATM Congress,
Next steps Timely, coordinated, synchronised deployment by 24 European airports by 2024
Maximising performance Coordination at European global level to maximise performance Apportionment of delay between ANSPs and responsibility for meeting arrival constraints Increased involvement of stakeholders Standardisation of procedures Connectivity between systems airports, NM, ANSPs
SESAR 2020 Very Large Scale Demonstrations 1. Coordination of arrival constraints between upstream ANSPs 2. Demonstration of data sharing between participating ANSPs and aircraft 3. Involvement of right blend of stakeholders Validation focus Integration of information from multiple systems via SWIM Interaction between traffic synchronisation and dynamic capacity balancing Consolidation of Traffic Synchronisation solution in high density environment with CTA, ASPA-IM S&M manoeuvres End-to-end optimised profiles Interoperability of the new operations/capabilities
