8 Pre-departure sequence - Principles The Pre-departure Sequence calculation is based on an Off-Block Time (TSAT) calculation that takes into account airport, aircraft operators and CFMU constraints Principle for the Pre-departure Sequence calculation Entry data Result TOBT 1 1 TOBT given by AO/Handler. SOBT by default + Variable taxi-time (Stand/runway in use table) 24-hour moving horizon calculation Take-Off sequence calculation Deduced Take-Off Time Algorithm First Scheduled / First Served (based on SOBT) CFMU Slot Runway capacity 2 Maximum waiting time at runway 2 TSAT - Variable taxi-time (Stand/runway in use table) Optimized Take-Off Time Runway configuration/ Runway in use 2 2 ATC input This calculation applies to all the flights in normal and adverse conditions User Forum Eurocontrol s Brussels HQ 8
