1 profile launched its operation on 10 th Jan 1994 with its first scheduled flights on the Dublin-London City route. Focussing on the corporate sector the company name quickly became synonymous with a high quality, high frequency service. The Dublin-based company commenced its alliance with Air France in 1996, operating the Paris Charles de Gaulle to London City route under contract. In early Air France assumed sole ownership of which led to a developing relationship that today sees operating 8 franchise routes linking Europe to the Charles de Gaulle hub. The company currently operates a fleet of 20 Bae aircraft and has commenced the phased introduction of the Avro RJ85 aircraft which will replace the existing fleet over the next 12 months. Significant investment in such critical areas as fleet, maintenance and simulator training facilities, combined with a strong financial performance and a well-established name in the corporate market allows the company expand its London City activity under a new brand, for Air France to be launched in March 07. Based in Swords, Co Dublin today employs 625 personnel. It expects to carry 1.5 million passengers across its existing network, currently Dublin to Paris and London City Airport and Paris to London City, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Florence, Gothenburg and Zurich. 2 Dublin, 12 July 2006 announces major investment in new aircraft has today announced that it has concluded negotiations for the acquisition of 23 Avro RJ85 aircraft. With a value of $221m the acquisition represents significant investment for the Dublin-based Air France subsidiary. The strategic importance of the deal is underpinned by the commitment of the world s largest airline group, Air France - KLM to investment in global inward access to, at a commercially challenging time in the aviation industry. The phased introduction of the new aircraft from November 2006 represents significant investment not only in fleet replacement, but also in the company s future. All the new deliveries are part of the same production family and with a younger airframe will deliver substantial savings on maintenance costs. The close relationship of the new aircraft type to the BAe 146 currently operated allows the airline to dovetail its introduction into the existing fleet. Launched in 1992, and with the most recent rolling off the production line in 2003, the Avro RJ85 regional jet has been an influential player in the development of regional air transport. Powered by Honeywell LF 507 turbofan engines, it is specifically designed to perform on shorter runways, essential for s operation into airports like London City and Florence.
3 The aircraft is equipped with the most up-to-date flight deck and navigation systems, and all-weather landing capability. Passengers will benefit from an all-new interior, focused on enhanced passenger comfort sculpted leather seating, improved standard seat pitch and enhanced baggage stowage space in the cabin. To strengthen the image of as an island and to promote further interest in the country, each aircraft will be named after one of the many islands off the Irish coast, focusing on those that have particularly strong cultural, historical or natural attractions. will operate the aircraft across its European network, with 4 abreast seating in Business class and 6 abreast in Economy, allowing it the flexibility to adjust the internal capacity to changing demand. According to CEO Geoffrey O Byrne-White, the choice of aircraft for the company was determined by a number of key factors, including its ease of introduction thanks to its shared characteristics with the BAe 146, its enhanced performance and economics. Post 9/11 and SARS, the Avro series has seen an increase in demand as the aircraft is particularly suited to European regional carriers whose routes tend to consist of shorter sectors and high frequencies, feeding major hubs and helping to compete against the low-cost carriers. In taking delivery of these aircraft, will join the ranks of other European RJ85 operators including Lufthansa CityLine, BA Connect, Swiss and SN Brussels, resulting in the Avro series becoming the fleet of choice for leading regional carriers. Based in Swords, Co Dublin and employing 625 staff, s core operation is high frequency business and connecting flights, typically on key routes like Dublin - Paris Charles de Gaulle and Dublin-London City. Last year the airline carried 1.5 million passengers.
4 New Network for for Air France on departure from London City Airport At the start of its new Summer 2007 flight schedule (26 March 2007), Air France will be launching 8 new destinations in Europe out of London City Airport: Geneva Madrid Milan Linate Nice Zurich and in cooperation with ScotAirways (*) : Belfast Harbour Airport Dundee Edinburgh These 8 new destinations will be in addition to the existing two services operated by out of London City Airport: Dublin and Paris Orly. Belfast * Dublin London City Dundee * Edinburgh * Paris Orly Geneva Nice Zurich Milan Linate Madrid * in partnership with ScotAirways (*) ScotAirways is a British airline, based in Cambridge Airport, operating a fleet of state-of-the-art turboprops, the Dornier 328s seating 31 passengers. Set up in 1984 under the name of Suckling Airways, it was renamed ScotAirways in 1999.

6 for Air France: an exclusive, modern and fast-track service London City Airport: an airport in the heart of the City Situated in central London, only 20 minutes from the City and 5 minutes from Canary Wharf, the two major business centres in the British capital, London City Airport boasts an ideal location, with the added advantage of being easy to get to, particularly by public transport. The human scale of this airport means that ground procedures are speeded up for passengers. The latest check-in deadline is very short (only 10 minutes before flight departure), and the airport is fully equipped with all the Air France e-service facilities: 4 self-service kiosks are available in the check-in area. 2 extra self-service kiosks are located just outside the airport for passengers arriving by tube. Passengers may check in online using the complimentary pc, offering access to all Air France e-services. An inflight product tailored to a demanding clientele for Air France will benefit from the entry into service of a young fleet of Avro RJ85 aircraft. These planes are all equipped with 95 leather seats, and the food and beverages served on board are suited to the requirements of a business clientele: Meal service adapted to the time of day and flight time. Top-of-the-range food and beverages in L Espace Affaires Flying Blue It goes without saying that for Air France customers benefit from AIR FRANCE-KLM s frequent flyer programme, Flying Blue. A Flying Blue Gold card member travelling in the l'espace Affaires cabin on 5 round trips to any destination will, for example, earn a free round trip in the Tempo cabin (6 for a Silver member).
