The quotation should be sent in sealed envelopes to the address given below so as to reach this office on or before 1500 Hrs on 27/02/2015. The cover should be sealed and super-scribed with the following details. 1. MATERIALS/WORK FOR WHICH QUOTATIONS ARE ENCLOSED 2. REFERENCE TO LETTER OF ENQUIRY 3. DUE DATE OF OPENING QUOTATIONS In case of quotations on F.O.R. stations of dispatch basis, the purchaser will not be paying separately for transit, insurance and the supplier will be responsible until the stores arrive in good condition at the destination. The quotations in which transit, insurance have been specified as additional items of expenditure are liable to be ignored. Quotations will be opened on 27/02/2015 at P.M. 2 - 1- SECTION-1 General Specification for SITC of glass partition with 12mm toughened plain glass with two doors and aluminium partition with two doors work at Transmitter Complex asper the specification under section -II 1.0 General: These Specifications covers, supply, installation of glass partition with 12mm toughened plain glass and aluminium partition work at Transmitter Complex, DDK Bangalore, under DTT Project. Scope: The work will include supply, installation of glass partition with 12mm toughened plain glass and aluminium partition work at Transmitter Complex, DDK Bangalore. 1.1 General Conditions: The supply,installation and fixing of glass partition with 12mm toughened plain glass with two doors and aluminium partition work with two door shall generally confirm to the Technical Specifications in as detailed in Section-II, against each clause. The Performa given below against each Clause should be completely filled in while submitting the quotation, failing which the quotation will be summarily rejected. 1.2 Completeness of Contract: Any Item which may not have been specifically mentioned or which the tenderer may not explicitly mention in his tender but are necessary for the completion of the supply, installation and fixing of glass partition with 12mm toughened plain glass and aluminium partition work with two doors shall be deemed to be included in the contract and be provided by the contractor without any extra charge. 1.3 Delivery The supply,installation and fixing of glass partition with 12mm toughened plain glass with two doors and aluminium partition with two doors work shall be completed within one month. This period shall be effective from the date of Issue of Work Order and shall be independent of any other factors. 1.4 Guarantee The supply,installation and fixing o glass partition with 12mm toughened plain glass and aluminium partition work. The complete shall be guaranteed in all respects for satisfactory Performance for One year from the date of taking it into service. This should be confirmed. 1.5 Inspection The supplier must satisfy themselves that the stores are in accordance with the terms of the supply & fully conform to the required technical specification.

3 1.6.1 EMD: A Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.3000/- to be enclosed in the form of Demand Draft Drawn in favor of "ADG(E)(SZ),AIR&DD,Chennai "obtained from a nationalized bank.the Tender without EMD will be rejected. 1.7 Insurance The supplier shall arrange for the insurance covering the risk during transit storage. All the charges for such insurance shall be borne by the supplier. 1.8 Payment: 100% payment against completion of work and on satisfactory functioning of the complete system. 1.9 Acceptance/Rejection of Tender The acceptance of a tender will rest with The Deputy Director General (Engg), Doordarshan Kendra, Bangalore, who does not bind himself to the lowest tenderer and reserves to himself the authority to reject any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reason General Canvassing in connection with tender is strictly prohibited and the tenders submitted by tenderers who resort to canvassing will be rejected Paying Authority Additional Director General (E)(SZ), All India Radio & Doordarshan, Chennai Any change in the quotation after opening of tender will not be considered. क.बब. ससद दसल गप प(K)/K.B. 4 - 3 - SECTION II 1.SPECIFICATION FOR GLASS PARTITON: i) Supply and fixing 12mm toughened plain glass with all sides polish grinding for fixed glass with top and bottom aluminium heavy ii) iii) channel fixing with powder coated and glass to glass joint with silicon clear sealant fixing etc., and top side wooden support for fixing the channel etc., For Doors supply and fixing 12mm toughened plain glass with all sides polish grinding with bottom floor spring fixing with top patch, bottom patch, bottom lock and 12 SS handle fixing etc., (Ozone patch fittings). The area of glass partition will be around 300 sq.ft. and the door will be around 50 sq.ft. However the payment will be made as per the actual. So The rate per sq.ft to be quoted along with the wastage if any. 2. SPECIFICATION FOR ALUMINIUM PARTITON: i) Supply and fixing of 2 ½ x 1 ½ Aluminium Anodizing medium gauge materials for all frames with 1 No. door with handle, lock and automatic door closer fixing and at 3 feet bottom 9 mm both side laminated board fixing and above 4 feet 5 mm clear glass fixing and at the top 3 feet both side laminated board to be fixed. The glass and the board should be fixed with glazing clips and rubber beading. The approximate area of aluminium partiton with 1 No.door is 100 Sq. ft. ii) Supply and fixing of 2 ½ x 1 ½ Aluminium Anodizing medium gauge materials for all frames with 1 No. sliding door with handle and lock fixing and at 3 feet bottom 9 mm both side laminated board fixing and above, 4 feet 5 mm clear glass fixing.(total height 7 feet width 6 feet) The glass and the board should be fixed with glazing clips and rubber beading. The approximate area of aluminium door is 42 Sq. ft. However the payment will be made as per the actual. So The rate per sq.ft to be quoted along with the wastage if any.

7 - 6 - Note 1. Please indicate prorata break up details of all identifiable items of supply of stores and ITC/ ETC cost in proforma prescribed above. 2. The statutory charges like Excise Duty, VAT/Sales Tax, Service Tax etc. which will not be borne by the bidder must be indicated with % rates as applicable in the column 7 of the proforma prescribed above failing which this Organization will not be liable for payment of any such charges. 3. State Entry Tax, Toll Tax and other taxes which are collected by statutory bodies on the way during transportation of materials shall not be included in the price bid. These taxes, if paid, may be reimbursed as per actual, on claim with original receipt of payment. 4. Each page should be signed with date & seal by the tenderers.
