2 Ultras Ultras is the name of organised groups of fans who support sports teams, mainly in Europe. In England they are known as hooligans and countries of South-America are for example Argentina, Uruguay, Chile...these groups are called barras bravas. This term refers to groups of fans that don t have a violent behavior. Comentario [H2]: In some South American countries Hooligans of Chelsea (Stamford Bridge)
3 Advantages and Disadvantages The advantages of these ultras are that they have rooms in stadiums to save theirs materials used in matches such as flags. They can also enter to the stadiums hours before to prepare the stands. Comentario [H3]: Adjectives in English do not take a plural form. Nerither do possessive adjectives. Comentario [H4]: Careful with IRREGULAR PLURALS. IT SHOULD BE ANOTHER PARAGRAPH Another great advantage is that they have get cheaper tickets than other people to see/watch the match and they have their own place in the stands. Althought hooligans encourage and support their team throughout the match, but theyse mix politics with sport and they have great problems and fight with ultras groups that have other ideologies. Before the match, they carry out violent attacks, for example burn containers and fight with rivals in the streets. During the game, they throw flases????? and other objects that are dangerous for the players SUCH as coins, bottles and also used lasers to disturb the players. Opinion In my opinion i think that the ultras have an important role, since from the beginning they support their teams and always encourage the players with songs and hymns. But I don t understand the many fights and violent attacks that they take part in do. In conclusion, if they really liked football as they say they do, they would not do these things and it is true right/fair that they can not come to the stadiums or attend other sporting events.
