Who we are The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) is an Australian Government agency within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio.

ONA is looking for an analyst to join a team undertaking research and assessment of the Southeast Asian region. The successful applicant will have demonstrated research and analytical skills and the ability to prepare concise assessments for senior policy makers. Tertiary qualifications in relevant fields and/or extensive in- country experience are essential. Expert knowledge of Thailand is essential. Proficiency in Thai language/s is highly desirable, though not essential. Candidates should submit copies of brief publications or examples of written work with their application. To be eligible, applicants must have Australian citizenship. These positions are located in Canberra and engagement may be on an ongoing or non- ongoing basis. This is a security designated position and the successful candidate will be required to undergo a security assessment to the highest level.
