1 Entry 3 Level 1 At Rotherham College, we offer a range of courses and Apprenticeships in the following areas: Motor vehicle craft Mechanical engineering craft /electronic engineering craft General engineering Whichever course you choose you will be trained using industry grade equipment in newly built labs and workshops which also includes our state of the art automated process control area. We have highly skilled tutors with many years of industrial experience who are here to support you and prepare you for a successful career in engineering. This is an Entry Level course in motor vehicle which enables students to gain hands on practical experience of basic motor vehicle systems. 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Advanced Apprenticeship in Vehicle Maintenance Building on from the Level 1 course students will gain further knowledge and competence of Intermediate Apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle GCSE maths and English at grade D or above Building on from the course students will gain advanced knowledge and competence of Routine servicing and maintenance Improve maths and English to GCSE grade C or above Advanced Apprenticeship in Vehicle Maintenance GCSE Maths The Intermediate Apprenticeship will be covered over a two year period. With this Apprenticeship you are gaining the skills and experience needed to progress into a career as a motor vehicle mechanic. 4 Diploma (90 Credit) This is the recommended course for anyone wishing to go on and study engineering in Higher Education/university. It is equivalent to 1.5 GCE A Level.
