5 ROTATION-FREE CASING REPARATION EMERGENCY BACKOUT SUB In addition to the standard models, Dril-Quip also offers an for use in highly deviated wells where rotation of the casing is not possible. 6 USING THE STANDARD AND RF Dril-Quip s Casing Reparation System is an equipment solution for production wells that have developed holes or leaks in the production casing string. If the casing can be disconnected below the damaged area and retrieved, an can be run and made up to the casing string. There are two types of Casing Reparation Systems; the standard and the RF type. The standard Casing Reparation System is a cost-effective choice for repairs occurring in vertical and shallow wells, while the RF type is a better choice STEP 1 Release Casing Connection and retrieve Casing String.
