Check-out of your Hotel (Own arrangements) You will be met at Hotel Reception by your English-speaking guide and depart Sanur for Ubud with a 2-hour stopover in Kuta for shopping or a leisurely lunch. It is set in the valley and encircled by hills; Gunung Kawi Temples of Gianyar Stop at a vegetarian lunch in Ubud. Continue to Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi Badung it used to be the Royal Temple of Mengwi Empire and it is located in Mengwi Village, Badung area. It is a beautiful temple with multi-storied roof and Balinese architecture. There is a large landscaped garden in front of the courtyard; Tanah Lot Temple in Tabanan is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. It is claimed to be the inspiration of a 15 th century priest who during his travels along the south coast saw the rock-island's beautiful setting and rested there and Some fishermen saw him, and bought him gifts. He then spent the night on the little island. Later he spoke to the fishermen and told them to build a shrine on the rock for he felt it to be a holy place to worship the Balinese sea gods. The last one, pending available time, is Uluwatu Temple in Pecatu, located on a cliff with magnificent views over the Indian Ocean. You may spend time here for a spectacular sunset and a Kecak Dance performance. 09 Nov Day 9, Saturday: Ubud (B, D) Day at leisure to enjoy the Resort s and Ubud s activities. Farewell Dinner incl. 3 10 Nov Day 10, Sunday: Ubud depart (B) Day at leisure at the Resort. After late check-out, you will be transferred to the airport for your ongoing flight or flight home. 4 BOROBUDUR EXTENSION based on 4-6 persons: - LAND ONLY Day 1: JOGJAKARTA arrival (B) Arrival at Jogjakarta airport at approx. 10:40hrs (flights own arrangements - on internet only see below). You will be met by an English-speaking guide and taken on a sightseeing tour to Prambanan Hindu temple, also called Roro Jonggrang Temple. Prambanan is reputed to be the biggest and the finest Hindu temple in Indonesia. Lunch at local restaurant own expense followed by check in hotel (from 14:00hrs). The remainder of the day is at leisure. Jambu Luwuk Hotel or similar, 4* Day 2: CITY TOUR Sindoro Lake Wama(B) Full day tour - Drive to Wonosobo via Temanggung (3,5hours). You will be able to see very dramatic mountain scenery as you travel through Sindoro - Sumbing Valley, passing through tobacco & tea plantations. Visit Java s oldest Hindu Temple of 7th century. Enjoy the sound of active craters at Sikidang Crater, and the beauty of Lake Warna (Color) and Lake Pengilon (Mirror). Lunch own expense. Jambu Luwuk Hotel or similar, 4* Day 3: PRAMBANAN- DENPASAR (B) Head early morning to spend time at the great Budhist temple Borobudur to discover the temple s mystery and history, then a short stop at Pawon & Mendut temples. Subsequent transfer out to the Airport for your onward connection to Denpasar. Note there is an option to extend stay by one night, International flights to from Indonesia Both Virgin & Garuda offer nonstop flights to Bali. Virgin Airlines is almost aud100 cheaper at today s date. If booking Virgin you will need to be mindful of the fact that the return flights from Denpasar to either Sydney or Brisbane leave at 10 minutes past midnight. Therefore, you must book your return flight home on 11 Nov if returning after Ubud and 13Nov if taking the Borobudu option.
