1 Spa Classic 2016 Enjoy a Spectacular 4 Day, 3 Night Break to the 2015 Spa Classic at Francorchamps The Ardennes track is now established in classic motor racing and the Spa Classic event is now positioned as the No.1 classic car event in Belgium. Situated in the beautiful Ardennes region the Spa-Francorchamps track was originally designed in 1920 by Jules de Their and Henri Langlois Van Ophem. In those days public roads were used between the Belgian towns of Spa, Malmedy and Stavelot. Due to several fatalities, in 1978 it was decided that racing here would no longer be held here in its original form. The 2016 Spa Classic will feature sports cars, single-seaters, GTs and touring cars filling the grids over the weekend. Besides the two Classic Endurance Racing grids, Group C Racing, Sixties Endurance, the Trofeo Nastro Rossa and Historic Formula 2. 2 Tour Itinerary DAY 1 - Arrive in Dover for a morning P&O Ferry crossing to Calais, France (other crossings available at a supplement) Following disembarkation, continue your journey through Northern France and Belgium to your hotel, where accommodation is reserved for you for three nights. DAYS 2 & 3 - At leisure for you to make your way each day to the track in nearby Francorchamps village to see as many events as you wish. Please note: If your car is pre-1966 or one of the listed exceptions you can park on the infield where your car will be amongst the display of classic cars and you will also have the option to take to the track during the weekend in your own car. If you are travelling in a modern car then parking is also included but in one of the car parks on the outside of the track. Your included tickets will give you admission to the circuit, access to the paddocks and to all the grandstands (seats are not numbered for this event). DAY 4 - Check out and depart your hotel for the return journey to Calais for your sailing to back to Dover. Spa On Circuit & Off - Circuit Camping On-site campsite has no private toilet/shower facilities, however you can use the circuit facilities which is approx. 500m from the campsite the offsite camping is approx. 6 miles from the circuit so you will have to drive to and from the circuit each day. However this campsite has its own private toilet/shower facilities. All plots are numbered, and are all 6m x 7m in dimension Camping is only valid from Thursday AM to Monday AM a supplement will apply if you want to book for a longer period.
