The Beauty Academy, based in the Riverbank building on the Stafford College campus, provides teaching salons that prepares therapists to work in top spas, prestigious hotels and on cruise liners nationwide. Students, who develop their skills in the luxurious surroundings of the Academy treatment rooms, have gone on to win some of the top awards in the industry and to gain employment in many of the world s most exclusive spa settings. Treatments are carried out by student therapists, supervised by fully-qualified members of staff or by qualified therapists. Products complementing some of our most popular treatments are available to purchase, enabling clients to continue the salon experience at home or give a taste of luxury to friends or relatives. 6 Treatments & Prices Heat Therapies Heat therapies have a long tradition of appreciation in many cultures either on their own or complementing a variety of beauty or holistic treatments. Sauna Our new red cedar sauna maintains the traditional benefits of increased blood and lymph circulation, unwinding tight muscles and clearing nasal passages with the added benefits of a more contemporary environment with comfortable seating and fibre optic lighting. 20 mins 5.00 Steam and salt inhalation room This room has an increased humidity and therefore, a softer heat. The theory behind salt inhalation is inspired by the experience of walking along a beach, inhaling the ozonerich, salty air.
