2 General Information The Art & Science of Palliative Nursing course focuses on applying essential principles of palliative nursing to the care of patients with serious and life threatening illnesses. This year s sessions will highlight advance care planning, communication, pain and symptom management, and integrative therapies in palliative care. Course Location The Art & Science of Palliative Nursing will be held at the Inn at Longwood Medical, located at 342 Longwood Ave., Boston. The course is conveniently located on the MBTA Green Line (D-Longwood stop or E-Longwood Medical Area stop), near Fenway and the Longwood Medical Area. Parking is available at the hotel as well as area garages. It is recommended that you dress in layers to accommodate variable room temperatures. Registration Information Registrations will be acknowledged via . In a continuing effort to Go Green, only an electronic version of the course syllabus will be provided. A handling fee of $75 is deducted for cancellation.
