2 2 1.1 Internet Explorer Browser Choose Save As and pick where you would like the file saved on your system. Be sure to remember where you saved the file. A banner at the bottom will appear when you have chosen where you want to save the file. When the file has been downloaded, the banner at the bottom of the browser will look like the image below. Next click the button Open Folder in the banner as marked with the orange arrow. Do not press the Open button. Windows will open up the folder showing you where the file is. Now go to Section 1.4 on Unzipping the file. 1.2 Mozilla Firefox Browser Choose Save File, and then click OK. The file will now be download to where you have specified to Firefox where you want files downloaded to be placed. At the top of the brower click the button marked below with the orange arrow. Below the arrow, the following image to the right will show on your screen. Click the Show All Downloads button at the bottom. Software Download Guide - Edition 1.0

3 Firefox will open up a new tab showing the files you have downloaded as shown below. 3 Click the button marked with the orange arrow. Windows will open up the folder showing you where the file is. Now go to Section 1.4 on Unzipping the file. 1.3 Google Chrome Choose where you would like the file saved on your system. Be sure to remember where you saved the file. A banner at the bottom will appear when you have chosen where you want to save the file. When the file has been downloaded, the banner at the bottom of the browser will look like the image below. When the file has downloaded, click the button Show all downloads... shown above marked with an orange arrow. A new tabe will be opened within Google Chrome like the one shown below. Next click the button Show in folder as marked above with an orange arrow. Windows will open up the folder showing you where the file is. Now go to Section 1.4 on Unzipping the file. T: F:

4 4 1.4 Unzipping the file Right click on the zip file and choose Extract All... The image on the right should appear. Choose a location where you would like the file to be unzipped by clicking the Browse button. Once you have a chosen location, click the Extract button. The file will then be unzipped in to the location you specified. When the unzipping process is complete, a folder will appear with the contents of the zip file shown. In the folder, double click on any folders you might see until you find an exe file that is used to install the software. This could be called Setup.exe, Install.exe or SetupStart.exe.
