2 Executive summary / investment highlights The Zumtobel Group has acquired a majority shareholding of 60 per cent in acdc lighting. An option to purchase the remaining shares exists as a second step. acdc is an innovative supplier of high-end LED lighting solutions with a focus on the architectural façade and hospitality segments. acdc s long term CEO and majority shareholder Gareth Frankland will continue to head the brand and drive forward its dynamic development within the Zumtobel Group. By acquiring acdc Zumtobel Group intends to strengthen its market position in the areas of architectural façade and hospitality lighting For acdc there is a great potential for significantly growing their sales through the worldwide Zumtobel Group sales organisation Acquisition of acdc lighting

3 acdc lighting company overview Small privately owned niche player with focus on the hospitality and architectural façade lighting Based near Manchester UK, acdc lighting is a niche provider of LED fixtures (98% LED) specialised on the architectural façade and hospitality lighting segment acdc lighting is focused on international lighting designers and project specifiers, and has a strong network in the Middle East (40% of sales) and UK (33% of sales) Core products include architectural downlights (~30%), linear lighting (~38%) and flood lights (~17%) The company has a production facility in Barrowford (approx. 2,500 m 2 ), currently has approx. 120 employees.
