3 News From The Garden During the school holidays a new fence was constructed along the boundary between the garden and the car park. It replaces the temporary fence and has added a new lease of life to the garden. Mrs Anne Franks and Ms Trudy Fathers are overseeing the school garden which includes a gardening group during lunchtime. At the moment we are planting seedlings to grow food that can be used in the canteen. If you are a gardener and happen to have some extra seedlings, such as tomatoes, spinach, lettuce, beetroot, strawberries, etc, we would welcome any donation. On a less positive note, there was some minor senseless vandalism in the garden over the weekend. If you have the opportunity perhaps you could discuss with your child/children the importance of looking after our school garden and encourage them to tell you or a teacher if they see or hear of anyone causing damage in any part of the school. Please contract Trudy Fathers or Anne Franks if you have any questions or can help in some way. KEY WORD SIGNS Words of the Week
