3 Assembly area-children require constant reminding not to eat on stage/lining; Manners need to be improved when using canteen; Canteen Junk food-sugary consumables; Littering; Running on verandah; Oval-fighting over ball; Basketball courts not taking turns; poor lining up; poor listening during assemblies; riding bikes/scooters in school grounds; leaving lunch area before being dismissed; poor movement between classes/assembly; lack of respect towards teachers; losing uniforms; playing with equipment at wrong times; children being silly whilst waiting at drop off zone; toilets used as hiding place for games; kicking/throwing balls dangerously around other people after school; rough play and sand throwing around junior equipment; covert exclusion 5. Feedback on Excursions/Incursions: Students well behaved and positive comments made Barking Gecko, Science Alive, visiting authors, interschool athletics; Enthusiastic and polite question & answer sessions; Safety House-students not well behaved; Too many events encroaching on core curriculum time; Very proud to be a Woodlands teacher when out in public-students behave beautifully; Churchlands Home Ec. students-students loved the chance to engage with the big kids ; Wildlife Incursion-expected more animals and more time to engage with animals 6. Additional comments/concerns: General lack of care in work presentation; inconsistency with rules (some students given consequences and others are not, for the same behaviours); PP children generally display positive behaviour but there are still issues around manners and not listening to instructions; ensure all staff are using the common language of what are you doing/what should you be doing? ; inconsistent messages to students regarding behaviours; great kids and staff

Examples of positive/negative behaviours: Always receive help with issues; children helpful, environment positive and inspiring; overall my children report good things; excellent support received for bullying issue Unfair play between boys, teachers unaware and inadvertently contributing to unfairness; boys and girls kissing; bullying; excluding friends; throwing sand at houses and damaging plants; too much social media amongst kids; inappropriate behaviours and lack of staff ; my child excluded from games on oval at lunchtime; supervision during break times; lack of
5 manners when asked questions; lack of understanding of rules; influx of out of area students has made traffic unsafe especially in last 2 years; swearing and uncourteous behaviour in play and drop off areas-lack of discipline; child hit with cricket wicket by another student; 9. Feedback on Excursions/Incursions: Sculptures by the Sea-very good behaviour by students but disappointing class teacher was unavailable to attend and relief teacher didn t know children; felt very proud to represent the school at sports; incursions/excursions are valuable and provide another learning environment; create wonderful memories; inspiring events; invaluable experiences linked to education and growth; great community bond; orchestra festival very important to participate in 10. Additional comments/concerns: Website not updated often enough; newsletter random; happy overall; lack of respect the leadership team give to community feedback; Principal s Award having negative effect; disappointed Mr Braimbridge leaving; teachers very competent; proactive school with friendly and approachable teachers and library staff-strongly supported by parent volunteers; organic garden is an excellent initiative; school requires larger focus on charity activities
