3 History Founded 1986 Began as a field service and engineering firm for the dredging industry. Became a Siemens Solutions Partner 1991 Present Began transition to Oil & Offshore in early 1990 s Pioneered the integrated engine control room (ECR) concept for 10 Rigdon Marine platform supply vessels (PSVs) 2000 Opened EPD China with initial orders for 22+ PSVs 2006 for Bourbon. 35 LKI Material Automation The Material Automation System consists of a Storage system, Sheet Loader, Part Remover and Input/Output Stations and interfaces will all the equipment and the SDD Server.

36 SDD Server SDD Server The SDD Server houses all the Software programs and is the central storage location for the machine programs. Part files, machine codes and Production Schedules are all stored on the SDD Server and accessed from the machines, allowing programming and scheduling to be done off of the production floor.

39 Sheetworks Sheetworks is an engineering package based on Solidworks, that contains additional tools specifically for sheet metal work. The software communicates with the other Amada software packages though the Amada SDD Server.

64 ECR House Testing Integrated Generator Control Testing Testing at EPD. Customer shipped a ship set of engine/generator sets to EPD for installation. These were for ship set ten of a ten vessel order. EPD used these engine/generator sets to test the electrical ECR houses for all ship sets. EPD was able to set up and program for the actual rotating equipment being used thus drastically reducing the commissioning time in the shipyard.
