3 About Us How many years have you been in business? What are your abilities and expertise? Formed in 1997 as Mirage Events, the company became MGM MIRAGE Events in 2000, MGM Resorts Events in 2010, and MGM Resorts Event Productions in Our current name reflects the breadth of services we offer, including scenic design, entertainment, and technical production. MGM Resorts International, the parent company, is publicly traded and listed on the New York Stock Exchange as MGM. MREP occupies a 105K square foot showroom, fabrication studio, and warehouse, just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. We offer an inspiring atmosphere that includes a vast inventory of scenic and technical gear; linen and floral; graphic design and large format printing; a woodshop and sewing facility; an entertainment rehearsal space; and two demonstration rooms. Our industry peers have recognized us with numerous international event production and design awards, including Event Solutions Event Company of the Year. We are active members of the International Special Events Society (ISES) and are featured speakers at many industry-wide conferences throughout the world.

4 Event Management Briefly describe your company s event management process. MREP is an internal event production department servicing client events at all MGM Resorts International properties and beyond. MREP works with all property departments, executing efforts on the client s behalf. This includes coordination of event logistics with Convention Services, Catering, Banquet Services, Security, Technical/AV Services and Accounting. An Event Manager is assigned to a project to service all aspects of the event. An Event Supervisor and all internal MREP departments support this key point of contact. We efficiently handle the volume of events we execute with a trained staff of over 125 full-time and on-call employees. Based on the event schedule, we supplement our staff with skilled labor resources from both the local and the Southern California market as needed. Please see our Departmental Overview.

10 Pricing Briefly describe your pricing structure. Pricing is determined during planning discussions. To work within client budgets, projects are customized based on individual event specifications. MREP can fabricate custom décor for projects, or can utilize our extensive inventory of specialty props, sets and furnishings, depending on budget. Installation and tear-down labor is estimated at 25% of proposed charges, based on extensive experience with facility logistics and property operations. An 18% management service fee is applied to all projects. What are your client s payment options? Clients may add event costs conveniently to their master account with the property, subject to a pre-approved credit application. Alternately, clients may choose to arrange payment by certified check, wire transfer or credit card per their preferred method.

11 Purchasing How will you assure you are negotiating the best possible rates and service levels? MGM Resorts Global Sourcing division leverages the buying power of the company s international network of resorts and casinos. Corporate contracts also provide dramatic savings for our customers. The company uses a rigorous bidding process to negotiate prices, and ensures that suppliers are licensed and insured to the levels delineated in the company s Purchase Orders. MREP may outsource items as needed through strategic partnerships with its suppliers. Extensive knowledge of the vendor pool ensures that service levels are held to the highest standards. MGM Resorts International actively promotes its Supplier Diversity program supporting women and minority owned and disadvantaged business enterprises.

12 Cost Savings Describe costsaving measures your company uses to reduce operational costs. MREP s extensive scenic inventory enables us to reuse, repurpose, repair and resell existing assets for significant cost-savings for our customers. We manage our scenic inventory with an internal web site that eliminates overselling and results in effective inventory control. MREP s extensive technical inventory includes up to date equipment for the complete spectrum of production projects. Our strategic alliances with vendor partners allow the inclusion of additional equipment at substantial cost savings to our customers. MREP regularly reviews processes for efficiency to maximize productivity and staffing. In addition to our full-time staff, we maintain a large, trained, on-call employee base that is utilized on an asneeded basis, allowing for sound management of labor costs.

13 Sustainability Describe your company s sustainability initiatives. MREP actively supports the company s sustainable business practices. We manage our extensive inventory of props by adhering to a Reuse, Repurpose, Repair and Resell philosophy. Event Production Props are constructed for multiple purposes to minimize the use of materials. Interchangeable panels using smart designs and materials enable easy changeouts and reduce labor costs. Metal structures from props that become obsolete are recycled. Printing direct-to-substrate allows it to be over-painted for other uses. Plasma screens reduce the use of printed graphics for signage. Fabrics treatments offer environmentally friendly design options. Laundry services are used to lessen the use of dry cleaning chemicals. Glass and metal floral containers offer vast reuse options. We maintain and reuse a selection of plants, shrubs and trees. Event Operations Electronic presentations have replaced most printed proposals. E-billing is utilized, reducing the use of paper, mailing costs and labor. Administration offices use motion-sensitive, fluorescent lighting. Internal paperwork and cardboard is recycled. Toner is recycled; equipment is set to energy-saving mode.
