4 TEST DETAILS Test Locations: - Wet & Dry Performance: Goodyear PG Mireval (F) - Ice & Snow Performance: Ice Rink Montpellier (F) & Test World Ivalo (Finland) Test Vehicles - Wet & Dry and Ice (indoor): VW Golf VI 1.4 TSI (160 hp / 118 kw) - Ice(outdoor) & Snow: VW Golf VI 1.4 TSI (122 hp / 90kW) Acquisition and Evaluation of Results - All tests were exclusively carried out by TÜV SÜD Automotive personnel - Snow & ice tests were carried out twice - Firstly, the performance of each tire is assessed relative to the best tire in each individual test (i.e. the performance of the best tire ) - Secondly, the performance of the Goodyear tire is assessed relative to the average performance of the two competitors (i.e. the average performance of the competitors ) - The conversion of the results into a percentage value is done in a way that > always means better, < means worse.
