2 Modular Tempo Atlet builds trucks to a modular concept. This makes it possible to tailor every truck to the customer s particular wishes and to keep service and LCC costs down. 3 The order picker s new workplace A picking truck is one of the highest-intensity workplaces imaginable. We confirmed this while developing the Tempo. This is a truck designed by order pickers for order pickers. The Tempo combines outstanding performance with unique ergonomics and safety. 4 New Tempo for piecework The Atlet Tempo is every order picker s and every company s dream. With the Tempo an order picker on a piece rate earns more money while finding himself less tired after a long day. To the company the Tempo is a sound investment, reliable and built to minimize servicing and maintenance requirements. Quicker The 2.2 kw AC motor gives unparalleled performance. What about 12 km/h with no load and 10 km/h loaded? The truck has lightning acceleration and fast raising and lowering of both forks and platform. Safer Rugged chassis, Atlet s patented S3 safety system and masses of other smart safety features. For example the platform cannot be raised and lowered without the driver on board, the PIN code prevents unauthorized use of the truck and the friction-force system gives smooth driving. Friendly The driver is the most important part of the truck. The Tempo offers extra space and extra equipment as standard. Ground clearance of 55 mm reduces the risk of foot injury.

5 Efficient Performance and ergonomics give an efficient truck. Order pickers can work faster with the Tempo without getting tired. Ergonomic Extra spacious driving platform with comfortable adjustable seat and backrest, storage space for paper and pens etc. All correctly located, easily reached to give the best working position. The steering is progressive a 70 angle on the Ergo steering gives a 90 turn of the wheels. Atlet s new Ergo steering is an optional extra. Atlet s ergonomic tiller arm is standard on all models. The new Ergo steering handle is available as an option. The Tempo is also planned for driver convenience. Cleverly positioned holders for writing pad, pens and other items. Simple but much appreciated. Effective The Tempo is built to meet the needs and demands of the picker s daily work. Although robust, its slender dimensions make it effective in tight picking aisles. To be able to keep up the pace during a long day of starts, stops and rapid acceleration the Tempo has a battery that gives full value up to the last minute (choice of AH, 24 V).

Ergo steering Atlet s new steering module Ergo steering has been developed to meet the particular needs of the order picker. The driver can control all the truck s functions from the telescopic handle. Accelerator, brake, up and down. It is also possible to drive the truck while walking beside it. The steering is ergonomically designed to keep movements to a minimum. The motor-bike-type handle gives the driver full control of balance and truck at all times. The steering of the future is here. Atlet s new Ergo steering handle controls all the functions from one place. The handle is designed to reduce movement and therefore minimize the strain on the driver.

7 Technical solutions Friction Force. For smoothest operation. The friction-force system means that the drive wheel always exerts optimum pressure on the surface, neither too much nor too little. This reduces wear on wheels and floor and gives smooth, steady running. ATC Atlet Truck Computer. The brain of the truck. Personal PIN code to prevent unauthorized persons from using the machine, personal settings (speed, acceleration etc.), tracing facility (the last 30 users are logged), automatic fault detection and reporting etc. TRAC Truck Remote Access. Remote servicing. The truck stops and you can t find a fault. Phone Atlet s emergency centre. S3 helps the driver to avoid hazardous situations by reducing speed on tight turns, preventing tipping and giving smoother, energy-saving driving. Operations monitoring (optional). The truck s built-in loss adjuster. Makes it possible to monitor collisions, degree of utilization etc. When starting the driver has to report any damage to the truck before it can be driven on full power.
