2 The Highlights Thursday, 28th January 2016 Grand Opening Ceremony with Bayern 1 band The 46th FIL Luge World Championships will be opened with the entry of the national teams and spectacular stage acts in the center of Berchtesgaden. The music band of Bayern 1 will offer best entertainment during the ceremony and at the following party the perfect attunement for exciting Luge World Championships. Friday, 29th January 2016 Bavarian Evening in the restaurant Gasthof zum Neuhaus Celebrate together with a lot of other fans the first day of the FIL Luge World Championships at the Bavarian Evening in Gasthof zum Neuhaus in Berchtesgaden. Traditional music and delicacies complete a pleasant event and represent bavarian traditions. Saturday, 30th January 2016 Legendary Speed-on-Ice-Party The legendary Speed-on-Ice-Party is the top event of the FIL Luge World Championships and guarantees best atmosphere and entertainment. On Saturday the second World Championships day will end in Rauchkuchl Club (in Hotel Edelweiss) with the greatest hits of the 70s, the 80s and the presence. 3 Side Events Kids Bus We want to celebrate the Luge World Championships with our youngest visitors too. The heated Kids Bus is the perfect location for warming up cold hands and feet. A professional team invites for having fun and for a kids barbecue. Horn Sled Race Our Horn Sled Race is fun for everyone. Try it yourself and go sledging in a traditional way. 2 Dancing Show Let s dance on the stage! Johanna Bräunlinger and her girls will invite to great dancing acts during the race-breaks. Music around the place Enjoy music entertainment with DJ Wasti who will heat up the fans at the tribunes. The wellknown brassband Symbadische Senfoniker joins along the track and guarantees for best entertainment too. Award Ceremony On Saturday the Award Ceremony takes place in the center of Berchtesgaden and celebrates the best athletes of that day. 3
