1 Community Connections: SUMMER CAMPS Community Connections publishes regular meetings of groups with particular interests. Submit information to Community Connections in the subject line. Announcements are published in this order: first Sunday, alumni, games, civic clubs; second Sunday, dance and music, fitness, garden, seniors; third Sunday, special interests; fourth Sunday, support groups, weight loss, women. This month s third and fourth week lists will appear May 24 and May 31. Science & Discovery Center Camps for ages 3-11 span June 6 to Aug. 12 at the Science & Discovery Center, 308 Airport Road in Panama City. Campers can sign up for individual camps or for the whole summer. Prices are $150/week for nonmembers, $135 for members for full-day camps, and $100/week for nonmembers, $90 for members for half-day camps. Beforecamp care, starting at 8 a.m., is $5 a week, and before-and-after care lasting until 5 p.m. is $7/week. Supplies are $5 per week or $25 for the whole summer.
